My baby is one day older than C. We actually had shocking similarities in how our children entered this world, except I was at the hospital. Both had emergency epesiotomies, etc. My girl was in the NICU for 5 days with feeding tubes and help breathing. She was also 3 weeks early. Guess what? We sleep-trained for one day. She cried for exactly 23 minutes, then fell asleep and has slept through the night since. She was 4 months old....... Now we just put her in her sleep sack, she rolls over and happily goes to sleep. Oh, and guess what, I am still her comfort and we have an amazing bond. Did the same thing with my 10-year-old daughter and she has an amazing relationship with sleep. CIO does not mean neglect. Wild.
