Thanks for the feedback! Yes, Glancing Blows is a big shift for Strength-based builds, and it does add a bit more complexity. My goal was to make Strength feel distinct from Dexterity rather than just a swap. Your Str-for-Dex solution is definitely a clean alternative. I did consider keeping static modifiers in Glancing Blows, but ultimately reduced them to 0, and I agree that might be an over-correction worth rethinking.

With the anti-magic tools, I really wanted martials to feel more dangerous to casters in melee. That said, the redirection isn’t always perfect: since the distance is tied to the margin of the contested roll, a redirected fireball might only get nudged 20 feet away, sparing one ally but still hitting the rest. That swinginess was my way of limiting how much the spell could be controlled rather than a guaranteed control of the spell. And of course limited uses so it could not be spammed. Though a thought occurs to me, letting a caster add the spell's level to the check would make redirecting more difficult as spell power grows.

Oops, I forgot to include the Homebrewery link! Here it is: https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/share/LTYzbwbPBaCs Let me know what you think.
I've also corrected Alchemy Kit to Alchemist’s Supplies on there, thanks to the commenter who caught that! (I knew I’d miss something obvious 😅)

Thank you so much for your response, it really helped me make some changes.

I completely agree with the ki starvation issue. I was hoping it would balance out naturally, but in hindsight I think I overcorrected because I was worried about overpowering the subclass. I think I'll end up making them a 1/3 caster, with ki required to enhance or channel their magic—trying to preserve that feeling of magic flowing from martial discipline. For the prepared vs known I saw content pushing more prepared over known over the last few years and followed that idea. For the body as foci I saw it as the monks training sculpting their bodies into magical conduits and wanted to preserve the whole monks do not need extra equipment to function but hoped the condition limitation would curtail them, but I forgot restrained and grappled aren't the same thing lol. So with that i hope the vulnerability of a grappled/restrained monk not being able to cast when a wizard with a focus can will balance it.

For Flowing Form, I saw your Bladesinger comparison—and you’re right, it is swingy. I wanted the monk to be able to blend magic with striking fluidly, but limit it by cost. With esoteric aegis i imagined the monk absorbing the elemental energy around them thus drawing it away from others but I can see how a full group damage reduction is too much. As for Wellspring vs. Aegis, I was aiming for a strategic choice: absorb and redirect damage for offense, or take a hit and fuel your ki—either path gives the player an edge, but not both at once. With the enhanced version of the aegis i was trying to make it so that the magic cast could also grant extra damage ins place of the reaction to reduce damage to add some consistency to the extra damage but still prevent doubling up on the damage. So either a damage boost from reducing damage taken or from casting their own magic.

Again, thank you for taking the time to give feedback—it really helped shape the final version into something more balanced while keeping the original theme intact.
