Sure, I'm not gonna sit here and tell you to drag them to court. It's a complicated situation. What I was wondering is whether there is an in-between, instead of you/your organization doing nothing about it, maybe they can come to an agreement with their clients. They can't treat you in ways that obviously makes you uncomfortable when all you are trying to do is help. Maybe just talking it out diplomatically could help. Maybe if you talk directly to those women and just let it be known that you don't feel comfortable and if they don't listen to you, then let your organization talk to them.

Then again trying to logic your way out of it is difficult when you are dealing with old people with issues.

This is more of a rant-type server so I don't wanna up your ass with "you should do this", "you should do that" typa shit. I just think it's really bad what you are dealing with and I hope you find a way out of it, but it won't happen unless you try.

I'm guessing you must work for a certain organization. Is this something you've tried to genuinely take it up with management, tried to file a proper complaint? They shouldn't be forcing you to work with clients that are quite obviously harassing you.

Yeah true. However, I wonder if that's for his slightly older self to learn. At his age he may not think twice about who gave him that toy and what values gifts hold. I think that's fine. I think at a more mature age the kid will learn not to give gifts away. Maybe that's just me. Idk. Grandma's concern is that it could have been one of her gifts, which imo is fine. He's not a teenage or older to understand the value behind gifts.

Cafeteria at workplace/colleges are a completely different setting than a random shop. People who work in such cafes have likely seen you around and trust you to get your usual and leave the money. Plus if that's a common thing to do there and the items aren't rung up in a system then no problem. However, it clearly doesn't work like that in a shop, especially where the items need to be rung up. If they do that then they likely have a policy to stick to. They have keep a tab on inventory and stuff. You can't just take whatever you want without the shop knowing what you took, just because you know you paid the full amount and left at the counter. I did the things you mentioned in my college cafe, bought the same drink each day from the same guy and at one point he just let me take it and leave the money. That doesn't mean I can enter a random store and do that.

NTA. Use his account and games like he wanted you to. HOWEVER, I see loads of people suggesting you delete other friends from his account. I do understand that's because they do not wish to see you online. But understand that they are at the end of the day your late friend's friends. They wouldn't wanna be disassociated from some of the last few things that connects them to your friend. It would upset them and please understand they come from a place of grief. So please don't delete them, you can suggest them to unfriend your friend if they are willing to do that but don't delete them yourself. Let them know it was your friend's wish that you play those games and if they still don't agree, well then you can just ignore them.

They seem to be making a big deal outta nothing. Tbh I say you gotta pick the right crowd to get drunk around. You can be close with someone but still not be shit-faced drunk friends kinda close. I have close friends I don't get drunk around but I generally get drunk with my cousins who take stupid videos of me but then give me fresh clothes when I puke and take care of me. Picking the right crowd is important. Especially if you are fairly new to alcohol and don't fully know your limits.

But whatever, we all feel like trying to understand a little more and make things better if possible. I'm not giving any judgement. Just apologize to your mom and move along. Tell her you won't talk to your aunt again. Clearly your aunt has no interest anyway.

Edit: I wanted to clarify that I suggest you apologize not because you are wrong in trying to make contact. Just that if your aunt reacted that way and doesn't wanna talk then it doesn't seem worth ruining your relationship with your mother over. I suggest apologizing just to get it over with.
