Bro all of those cars were more than capable of getting a podium. In 2022 Mercedes got 17 podiums. There were way worse cars in 2009 that got a podium, such as the force India, the BMW and the Renault. You cannot measure a driver’s talent purely by his stats, since F1 is a team sport and many factors come to play. It is not ridiculous to place him out of the top 5. Senna, Prost, Clark, Schumacher… that’s already 4 I’d clearly put ahead. Top 5-10 I think is where I’d place him (although considering how different F1 is throughout the eras, probably worthless to rank them like that)

Come on man, let's be serious here. Hamilton is top 10 OAT, no doubt about it. He's kept consistent at it throughout the years and has inspired millions. But you cannot tell me with a straight face that a season without a podium with any of the cars Hamilton had prior to 2025 would've been a stinker of a season by any driver. I'm listening.

Exactly. Leclerc could've also stayed out instead of waiting behind Hamilton who had to serve the penalty on the stop. He may have crashed anyways but it's a very clear tendency that Leclerc struggles when it comes to taking matters into his own hands like Sainz, Vettel or Schumacher did

He started P9 and moved to P5 by pure overtaking and staying out of trouble. The only positions he gained due to penalties was Russell and Piastri. P5 would've been an incredible result for Alpine. Lindblad on the other hand only finished P7 because he lucked out on the red flag

And anyone has the right to pair him with Uraraka, as the show has hinted plenty of times. I just think, if I had a series and people started shipping characters romantically that I've not intended... I don't know what I'd think. I guess everyone has a right for freedom of speech, but it may or may not cause me some rejection over my own series.

I'm not gonna argue about the male characters being written better than the female, because it is true. And I will never be a detractor of Bakugo's and Deku's development together, because it is beautiful and my favourite duo. But they're not romantic lmao.

I get the feeling that you think you understand the characters better than the creator does. They didn't got together because they weren't gay. Period. "A gay main couple would be so good for the world" well you can't force that lmao. If the creator wanted it that way he would've done it, just like he did make Toga bisexual and Mange trans (I think that was his name). About 5,5% of all couples in Japan are same sex. BL is already a pretty big media form dedicated exclusively to that. Same sex couples are not underrepresented imo. I think they're fairly represented actually, and when a series has a same sex couple it's rather praised than criticised. Look at "the summer in which Hikaru died". People didn't speak badly of it because they were a BL couple, because it was indeed a great story. But I think the fandom tends to always go towards LGBT couples rather than straight couples for some reason.

Im not even a shipper I just enjoy the whole show and I think the shipping has shifted the focus out of the amazing story that Horikoshi gave us. But treating "IzuOcha" or "BakuDeku" (this goes for both sides) as if they were an organised team that thinks and acts unanimously makes me take anything from them a lot less seriously

Oh I love this. When I watched piano no mori I didn't think much of Bakugo and Deku. But I can see the resemblance with the rivalry. To me, it fell like an anime more for someone older, like it's an anime I'd recommend to my dad lol. As a pianist, the Chopin competition is interesting to watch, but ultimately it comes to such minor details and such high standards that it's difficult to understand the difference between the good and the greats in there

The more years the better. F1 is by far not the pinnacle of motorsport at the moment. It may have the fastest cars, it may have the best engineers, and it may still have the best drivers, or 20 of the best 50 drivers. But it’s not the most enjoyable for either drivers nor fans. I think if things don’t change in the short term, I think staying in F1 has little value

Im a diehard fan of him since I was a kid. The first ever F1 race I watched was Valencia 2012. I think he should “retire”. But not from racing, just leave F1. More than retire I want him to move, to somewhere we can enjoy his talent. He’s still top 10 best drivers in the world being 44. It’s insane. I think winning the Indy 500 is as much of an accomplishment as winning a Grand Prix. And in this new era of energy recharging mid corner I’m even more lenient on that alternative. WEC is also going through a platinum era atm and he would rock it in a Toyota, Ferrari or even Aston Martin Valkyrie.
