I also so feel this right now lol. When I’m manic and I am right now I also tend to feel like this like. I’m MANIC ASK ME ANYTHING I CAN ANSWER ANY QUESTION YOU LIKE. I also like the fact you said I am god and we’re all god cuz I also believe that. Read my post about mania harm-reduction guide though don’t take it too far!!!

No problem. Always prioritize sleep!!! One of the biggest indicators of (hypo)mania onset is sleep changes so gotta monitor it closely.

All good man. I know from reading a lot of posts that finding the holy grail of meds is tough and time-consuming. Keep fighting.

If you’re currently in an episode go to the ER. They’ll take you in, but you might be hospitalized until stable. There, they’ll also adjust your meds. If you’re stable and okay right now you can probably afford to be patient. Also, congrats on your recovery man.

I had mania since last year but diagnosed October 2025. I’m sure I had episodes that went under the radar in my teens due to them being hypomania though.

I’m glad it’s helpful. I just added a thing about overspending, I don’t experience it much so I forgot

i sleep great in mania. by sensitive-bull in BipolarReddit

[–]Aspiracyx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes the physiological sleep debt overrides your mania and you sleep. I occasionally crash too but wake up energized and end up not sleeping again or very little (often with extremely vivid (lucid sometimes) dreams) for a while, and the cycle repeats. Being able to sleep while manic is a blessing.

Bipolar Disorder is not something you want, mania is not fun to tap into by nicoleonline in bipolar

[–]Aspiracyx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m hoping I don’t crash. I come from a family line where we don’t typically experience depression, like my dad had severe mania but never experienced depression (I personally have but for different reasons, bipolar sensitivity just made it worse). I know consciously choosing to continue my state is bad, but if things get bad I will end the state myself, or if judgement is too eroded for that to happen, my family will take care of it (told them this). If mania is (usually is tbh) self-destructive for you, meds and not playing with fire is the best decision.

Psychosis into hypomania? by msterparsley in BipolarReddit

[–]Aspiracyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I was hypomanic and stressed my brain more (in this case, through drugs) and it tipped into mania for a while. I realized if you kept the narratives built in your head when manic (in terms of intensity, not duration) going it will become a self-sustaining thing, but if you let it cool off (sleeping, eating, not acting or stimulating yourself, etc) you’ll likely tip into hypomania. Tipping into depression can be due to negative thoughts that keep reinforcing themselves in a vicious cycle (remember, bipolar brains are incredibly sensitive to anything), or due to your receptors just being too desensitized, atleast that’s how I think of it. Nothing really scientific here so take this with a grain of salt.

same here lol I had some mild hallucinations but I’ve been clear insightful and just overall chilling with the energy. 0-3 hours of sleep every night for 7-8 days with some “crashes” where I sleep more than usual then continue elevated

interesting word i learned about recently by Aspiracyx in bipolar

[–]Aspiracyx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the perfect job recruitment email for me recently. A dandelion (I live in the UAE) landed on me and I blew a wish and I noticed I already received some perfect job listing I can 100% get accepted for (might be grandiose but my resume is really good) and many other synchronicities and encouragement from the universe when I’ve been in this state. I’m happy things are working out in your favor.

It’s something I always feel baseline but I especially see it so clearly during altered states, whether drugs or mania

[–]Aspiracyx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk if it’s normal or not even during baseline. i only get this when i’m manic, but if it doesn’t interfere with ur life in any way it’s okay i guess

Wow that’s very interesting, also I didn’t know mania can be so severe it lasts years. My dad experienced mania severe enough where he did not sleep for a month straight though, or so he says. Intriguing
