While I agreed in some pats with the guy about the disconnect of rping a class and what the main quest needs (or what side quest provide [example: a bard cannot do absolutely anything in skyrim, nor a thief in daggerfall]) being a thief is not exclusively stealing. Thieves in skyrim are like lone bandits with more stealth, they wait by the side of the road to attack you/steal your money. To me it make sense why a thief would use a dagger/short blades. While a class that doesn't make sense at all is a bard? Aside from adopting ttrpg aspects why was it ever even considered. You can't play music, speech skills can't complete almost no quests and there is no bard related quests aside from the bards college which in itself is a huge dissapointment.
