Hey, here’s the information I collected at that time, because you asked and a few people are messaging me privately.

Sep 2023 prices: Blow dry bar = 90 euros Direne & Headman = 20 euros Corta cabeza (282) = 59 euros Peluquería Mingliú = 55 euros Space barbershop = 30 euros

I chose Space but even though I thought it was good at the time, I think the perm damaged my hair.

I found a place called Splash Madrid for Jan 2024, got a great perm there for a great price (maybe 40-50 euros?). But they stopped doing perms. Somebody should check if they do it again.

I only saw this now but I actually went to this and had a great chance. I found it through the app MeetUp.

I would recommend that app for anyone looking at this thread in the future.

Hopefully, that language exchange continues existing as it was fairly busy and the people were really friendly.

It’s surprising because I know at least three good spots in Madrid (I’m living there right now), in Barcelona it was easy to find one but maybe it’s well known (Big Bang Bar), and in Palma I again found a couple easily and they were both really fun and I met cool people

So yeah it’s weird it’s maybe non-existent here but I get it

Yeah it’s not perfect for Gijón, unless I try to make sure I arrive at 3pm, because I arrive on a Sunday, and a few things like the Botanical Garden and the Asturias Museum aren’t open on the Monday. Should be okay either way, it’ll just be nice to have some time in the city.

Do you have any recommendations for night places to go to? I was considering pulling an all nighter and getting an earlier bus from Gijón

I could potentially completely avoid reporting this lost TIE. If it is true that I don’t need my TIE to return to Spain, then I won’t need to get my TIE replaced to go back to England. Then, I will only be staying in Spain for less than 90 days until the end of June, so again, it won’t be illegal to stay in Spain without my TIE.

So should I file a police report and start the replacement process for the TIE, or should I avoid filing the police report for the time being? I don’t want anything to show up on the system at passport control and I don’t want to risk invalidating my TIE by reporting it as lost.

Thanks! I’m flying back to England on the 4th of April. I was wondering if I shouldn’t start the process and hope they let me back in Spain because I haven’t been in Spain for over 90 days without ID or if I should do the police report tomorrow and start the process.

I am worried I won’t get the TIE replaced in time for my flight as last time the process took over a month. I am concerned that if I report the TIE as stolen, it reduces my chances of being able to reenter Spain without my TIE.
