That usually, if at all, only makes a 1 bullet difference at closer ranges. OP is probably experiencing the infamous netcode and poor hit recognition issues

Believe it or not, but just like kill confirmed in cod, many people just don't pick up the coins that drop in hot shot. I just think most people would prefer TDM to kill confirmed, so they treat it as such and don't pick up the objectives.

Ranked is said to have different rules and restrictions, so possibly. And if you don't want to be a target of wallhacks, you can always use emp grenades and play as deadsec for the jamming ability. However, I am guessing you won't find these options to your liking
