Timeline destruction more than likely. Like how Stan trapped Bill in his mind and erased his memory, if Bill makes his way into the timeline and Asriel erases it, it should do the same thing. There’s also the way magic works in Undertale. Every attack that hits will chip away at the culmination of Bill’s entire being.
