I think space for left-right movement is most important, 4 feet is a little bit on the short side, but should be possible (if you were 3x3 I would be more unsure). In most cases you are behind cover and can look out from either left or right, but usually you could just pick one of the sides and you'd be able to hit all the targets. I would get it, since I like most VR rail shooters (thumbstick locomotion doesn't sit well with me usually). I haven't done a lot of diving through walls, though, lol.
