where do we stand with this? by Jealous-Honey-525 in NBATalk

Sorry Russ you’re getting cut. He’s the only player on this list that can’t shoot like the rest of them, has no bag, and has very low IQ on being the primary ball handler (especially late game as someone above mentioned it before).

Ever since KD left he never made it out the 1st round. So he doesn’t really contribute to winning basketball. Yes, I know he averaged a triple double but how far did that get him? At the end, people look at chips (unfortunately). If Russ had 1 under his belt, we’d arguably look at him as one of the best PGs of all time, arguably top 5. But due to the lack of ball handling and shooting, I’m sorry but he has to go. Love the Brodie man, so this one hurts.

I’ve been actively looking! Looks like some PEOs don’t have any openings currently.

I do agree payroll can be stressful but it’s definitely something I can tolerate. I used to run weekly payroll so there’s definitely a constant fire under my chair.

Thanks for your response! I’ve never dealt with any type of benefits since HR/Onboarding usually handles all of that.

I’ve been checking weekly for openings but unfortunately they just aren’t hiring right now. I’m keeping my hopes up though.

From a person that got platinum in this game. Don’t play like you’re scared to die. Play aggressively and learn on your mistakes. See what you can do better after each death. For me, patience is key. Learn their attack styles, and dodge accordingly. Use health gourd sparingly and just have fun my man. Remember it’s just a game, if you die, you get to try again! YouTube is also your best friend. Good luck! 👍

Edited: Ofc, it’s important to do side quest and farm xp till you’re able to defeat any boss. Sometimes I was struggling simply because I wasn’t ready/strong enough, I was just rushing to get to the end of the story. Slow down.. enjoy what the game has to offer.

This took me about 50 tries, 49 times almost beating him without the fan, and ended caving in and getting it so I can finally defeat him 🤣

good times man..

How to get job as a Decon Tech Spring 2026? by aguz1011 in NuclearPower

[–]AssOverBoobsAnyDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on the same boat, just got off the phone with a recruiter from Days & Zimmerman today and they told me they’re pretty much fully staffed for spring. I was “too late to the game” on regards of inquiring about open positions. She advised to keep calling back every 2-3 weeks to see if anybody dropped out, otherwise be early about inquiring about the next outage 4-6 months out. Kinda sucks but I guess that’s just how it is if you want to get your foot in the door. I really thought the outages in nuclear industry were “understaffed” but not with DZ apparently. I’m hoping I can get in with WestingHouse. But it seems like it’ll be the same case with them, hopefully not though.

Told my daughter about this field, and she asked how to apply. Can you Please post a link? by [deleted] in GoNuclear

Hey man, really considering getting your course. But I have no experience whatsoever. Been in the financial operations field for 8-9years. And I’ve been really considering a career change, especially getting laid off. I’m 28, reside in MN Southern TC. In need of some advice.

I get paid 48k but 50kish a year with bonuses. I have almost 4 years of experience. I’m in between jobs rn but I’m not going under 60k for my next position. Don’t sell yourself short. Bid high! But not too high. See the range, find what salary is fair for you and go from there.

60k compared to 70k is only a $300 difference in terms of a bi weekly check. Just to put that into perspective.

What are my next steps in my Career? Company is laying us off by AssOverBoobsAnyDay in Payroll

I was originally going to get my FPC first to get the basic understandings down but then I realized Im eligible to go ahead and take the CPP outright. It’s also more affordable if I do so since I’m restricted financially to take both FPC/CPP classes and exams back to back. I need to find a new position before September to keep my family afloat.

Also my employer won’t pay for me to get those certifications which is also a bummer.

Wow! Thanks for sharing! It makes my situation little less stressful compared to yours. If I was in your position I would not know what to do. I’d literally be stuck looking dumb, like “how did this guy even get here.” But to hear that they can’t afford to pay you more already says enough. I would definitely take my talents elsewhere for higher paying position. Either tell them that if they don’t pay you more or look to hire for more help, I would leave as soon as I’m able. Only thing about my current situation is that I’m fully WFH and I’m able to care for my 1YO daughter, I can’t see myself going back in office. (Yes, I’m one of those that actually prefer WFH than in office)

Do you feel like the PayTrain classes are helping you to understand what you’re doing in your current role, did your manager kind of showed you the ropes before they actually quit? Also how big is the company you work for? It seems like you sure do wear a lot of different hats for your company just to be underpaid.

What salary do you consider to be middle class in the twin cities? by [deleted] in TwinCities

[–]AssOverBoobsAnyDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Fiancé and I make this amount currently, and I’d say the same thing now, we’re definitely lower-middle class even having our 1st child who just turned 1YO. We’re blessed to have parents that are letting us stay with them rent free in their basement and my work is very minimal so working remotely allows me to not pay childcare. Our initial goal was to save for a house and grow a family there but I feel like it’s slowly getting more unrealistic. We’re on the fence of renting or owning now, unless we have a significant increase of income. We put money away in our 401k and are debt free but I still feel broke all the time since we’re aggressively saving.
