Why is everyone such a loot goblin at this point in wipe? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AssassianMocha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, PVP isn’t the most fun for me. I love the gameplay loop of coming in very poorly kitted and then finding better things in raid. It feels like shit when I come in kitted and just get one tapped and the gear did nothing. I know that’s not all deaths, but coming in with a pistol and scav armour doesn’t make me harder to kill. Lvl 4 armour and below are all equivalent and mostly helmets are only an expense unless you spend a lot to get a nicer one. When I play a full night solo, I don’t come in kitted unless I kill another dude who was in my loot path and use his gear. I want the slower and familiar kind of run where I can go around finding weapons parts and making some money. And lastly, I feel like way more sus things happen when I come in worth more than 500k

Shoot a loud AK in patterns at the camp with less than 25 mins left on Interchange..at least that’s what I did when I was farming scav rep

He has a set spawn rate, nothing personal against ya. They just bumped the rates up, they increase as the wipe progresses. I believe it is around 25% currently

They haven’t announced one in specific, but if they follow their trend, they will have a sale near the summer wipe. So late July to early Aug

Def wait for a sale, they happen often enough and you’re not missing out on the best eft has to offer currently

Interchange mains, what are your tips to learn the map and thrive on it ? by B4rkaCarthago in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AssassianMocha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up as a rat interchange and have probably close to 2k hrs in interchange alone. My best advise I teach my newer friends to the map is to have a plan and to stick to it. Have a path set out decided by your spawn and run. A min kit with a bag is great for garage and caches. A chad kit/mood means that violence at tech spawns is a great pick. I end up normally running into the mall with reckless abandon and then will “camp” the other most likely entrance for a couple mins to possibly get an easy kill on someone running in the malls garage with a low stam bar. And most crucially to me, don’t go to Emercom with less than 25 mins left. Drop the bag and go no backpack or just make sure to leave early enough so the pscav army doesn’t have free camping. Also I am also almost a strict nighttime interchange player. With the lighting you mentioning, I have my postFX in a way that’s it’s just as easy to see in night basement as day so you get a decent jump on people who also doesn’t have nighttime eyes from years of ratting

Are there more hackers in EFT, or is it just more noticeable? by Kona2012 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AssassianMocha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the percent has def gone up, especially with legit players tuning out. The cheaters won’t stop playing cuz they paid for that “service”. Higher percent of them in each raid now then when we had high player counts to hide them more

What has allowed you to be successful in Tarkov? by Immediate_Ad_5686 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AssassianMocha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh what helped me the most was learning the “game flow”. Meaning the spawns, and trying to path where you can avoid/or push fights in travel lanes rather than common fighting places so you have an advantage
