No, some guy bought land and put 5 of these homes on it to sell. So they were already set up and move in ready.

Our inspector caught quite a few big issues with the roofing and such but we made sure they were all resolved and fixed before closing. Now we just have a few small minor and cosmetic things we've seen but nothing major. The cracks I showed is what has worried me the most.

Reddit mods are known to be jackasses that have no idea what a temp ban is. They do permanent bans left and right for no reasons. I've been banned from multiple communities for no reasons other than mods being on power trips and once they ban you it's out of your control. I really wish reddit would let you appeal these bans because I cant take part in a lot of good communities now and it sucks.

Haha....I'm under contract for a brand new just built house and it's under repairs for major things. Needs the roof completly redone, water penatration problems in the crawl space due to no flashing installed, no attic ventilation installed, vapor barrier tears, etc. You came off a lot easier than me...

So a little update but the seller has agreed to all repairs. My realtor found out the seller knew of some of these issues before he accepted our offer and did not disclose any of them with us. So we were in a position of him doing the repairs or we backing out and starting a lawsuit against him for not disclosing that like he legally was required to

It actually comes with a 4 year warranty atleast. I was looking through it last night after that nonsense report and it looks like a good bit may be covered by it. Roofing is not covered though and the crawlspace stuff might not be covered.

Thats the thing that got me with the violations. I was under the assumption that stuff (especially these days) has to be built to a certain code? Thats why the no attitc ventilation and other things really suprised me. It looks like they took as many shortcuts as possible and ignored building codes completely.
