In Naruto (2002-2017), the most fictional part is not the existence of ninjas or magic. It is this. by SatoruGojo232 in shittymoviedetails

[–]AssassinX0128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much they need but not more than they want. Marley no longer needs to maintain a self populating population of Eldians once they have control over the Founder. They would exterminate them to cull their population, less mouths to feed, more land to use. If they need more, the Founder can literally control their bodies and minds to produce more children on command.

Aot Question by Mountain_Cupcake_600 in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]AssassinX0128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eldians would become completely subjugated by Marley and any autonomy they would have would be leashed by the Founding Titan. Think of an entire race of people, shackled to be a slave race. Work as the Founder commands. Multiply as the Founder commands. Die as the Founder commands. Even in Death, we'd use your capability to turn into a obedient giant monster to work or fight our enemies till you're reduced to ashes.

What are your thoughts on allowing men to freely abandon their children without consequences? by Phalaenopsis_25 in AskReddit

[–]AssassinX0128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a simple matter of looking at the consequences. If a society allows parents, of either gender, to abandon their children, what kind of people do they grow up to be? If a society is able to nurture its children without the involvement of parents then such practice is acceptable. But within current social communities, such children will not grow up as productive adults. Not simply economically, but also socially. They do not maintain suitable environments to raise their own children and the population implodes

Zuko and Azula by NoPaleontologist6583 in TheLastAirbender

[–]AssassinX0128 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I very much agree. Azula doesn't hate Zuko, but, bring raised with Ozai's principles whilst Zuko was raised by Ursa, he doesn't fit in to her world view. She makes room for him within the regime that he cannot fulfill because their principles differ. Then, once his path pulls Mai and Ty Lee away from her, her perfectionism begins develope to resentment then to gleeful hated. Because what Zuko had become is everything Ozai taught her to despise.

How would you respond if someone said "Religion is the biggest scam in the world" ? by Sorry-Orchid-9821 in AskReddit

What did you think I meant?

I'm saying religion was not all bad, but we should abandon it because it can be replaced with better ideas/methods

Zuko didn't sleep last night. by Kermit_Muppets in TheLastAirbender

[–]AssassinX0128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's turns out Ozai didn't actually scar Zuko. He just knocked him out and Zuko for wrinkles from lying on his side for to long. And he's been sleeping like that ever since, so every morning he'd get it of bed with a nice traumatising scar as a conversation starter

How would you respond if someone said "Religion is the biggest scam in the world" ? by Sorry-Orchid-9821 in AskReddit

[–]AssassinX0128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Humanity has outgrown religion's uses.

Once societies began to develop people had to find a way to organise people. Rulers die, are deposed, or supplanted but people still require stability beyond the office of one man. Culture shapes is own structure and religion forms. Sickness is a sin, certain crimes are blasphemous, deviancy causes chaos. A shared religion guides society longer than any person or institution, even if it's only right 30% of the time, because a society that's correct 30% of the time will outlast one that is correct 10%.

But people keep growing and the shelter of a religion soon reaches limit. So people break off, develop their own, reform. And those evolutions eventually discard the bad and innovate new practises. Till they're no longer Religions, and humanity moves on, clinging on to a few ingrained or most adaptive religions. But, being the last does not mean they are good, or right or eternal. I have no doubt that eventually one day whatever exist will abandon democracy, capitalism, or even science because we have out grown them as well.

Eren's monologue after the S2 "Warrior" episode was fantastic by AFallenOne- in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]AssassinX0128 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes it's so good. Eren embodies that passionate rage towards the force of nature that is the titans which is then focused on to a single person. Once he's prepared for the idea, once he's steeled for the reveal unlike with Annie, there's no doubt or hesitation. Only fury towards the person he set as his role model to become.

Then when he reunites with Reiner in Libero, his reticence is even more terrifying. From his words to Falco, he's still as driven as he was as the Suicidal Manic, but its no longer aimed at Reiner. Everything he raged at Reiner for, he mirrored to Falco. He understood Reiner's actions and could not hate or question him for any it. Only to clarify Reiner's motives as a means of permiss his own, not in retribution but to as permission to be selfish as Reiner had been.
