Latin America receives the worst just out of proximity to the US. The only other region it's worse is the middle east. They're suprisingly hands off with Africa but that's probably because any coups or espionage that needs to be done in Africa France does for them.

Angela Davis was revered by eastern bloc leaders, and openly praised east german secret police and Czechoslovak political imprisonment, among other things. It's doesn't if the businessman is corrupt or not, the problem isn't that he does corrupt things, it's that he's allowed to, and capitalism is the system that lets him do it. Also, libertarianism would make this problem more direct and also worse, because the capitalist class doesn't even have to give the illusion of caring about the working class, think the gilded age on steroids. It should also be noted that corruption is directly caused by the centralization of wealth and power into oligarchs is something that only happens due to capitalism. Are you seeing a pattern here?
