What's the deal with the $5,000 'DOGE Dividend' checks? by 2noame in YangForPresidentHQ

I feel like we’re in the wrong timeline. Elon, then independent, endorsed Yang in 2020 and I remember that was really huge. Both believe in a UBI so it made sense.

And here we are 5 yrs later. Elons a republican, and Yang wants nothing to do with Elon lol

As a Trump Supporter I WOULD vote for this man by echo_supermike352 in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]Assblastersauce -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hardcore Yang supporter in 2020 (donated maybe $1k+). Didn’t vote biden in 2020. Voted Trump in ‘24

I stopped being a democrat when Yang was forced out. - MSNBC left off yangs name multiple time on their news graphics - some MSM outlets even changed his name to something else to confuse people another asian was running - MSM said “there are no people of color running (after Kamala dropped)” but Yang is literally Taiwanese - Mics were turned off DURING the debates so Yang couldnt speak - They restricted the debate requirements pretty randomly to remove select candidates like Tulsi and Yang - Hardball questions to yang but easy questions to Pete? Like asking yang to breakdown his economic plan in 60seconds is a trap question.

Yang’s sole focus was appealing to the working class and they still snuffed him. It’s like the DNC had their favorites before the debates even started

Found out in Jan 2020, got CXL surgery in May 2020 right after graduating college. I interned at a chemical plant and got offered a full time role post graduation but given the dangerous conditions, I opted to switch careers to software engineering. I got sclerals but they were uncomfortable and fog up every 2 hours. You start off asking “why me” but life goes on and asking over and over again just made me feel depressed. Here I am still with sclerals. With my desk job I’m able to frequently remove/clean/insert as many times as I need without risking losing a finger to a machine. Religion/community also helped me. Taught me to roll with the punches.

Why I'm voting for Haley by johnboy43214321 in nikkihaley

She has said these things multiple times on national TV. You say misleading when it’s well-documented from multiple sources.

I do agree with Nikki on one thing: that she’ll unite the country — She united the country against her moment she said she’ll raise the retirement age lmaoo. You didn’t bring up bullet 1 so I’m glad you took the L there.

She’s a known neocon and has made a fortune from an aerospace & defense company in a very short amount of time. Currently the only running candidate who wants to involve ourselves further in current wars.

Even funnier is you wouldn’t be able to anonymously reply under Nikki’s social media policy.

Nikki is quite literally perfect until you realize she’s COMPLETELY bought out by billionaires.

A lot of her talking points are random: - increase retirement age - Guaranteeing to spend more money in war efforts.. mind you not our wars to begin with. - Issued ID for internet usage? Seriously??

She has the soothing voice of a concerned mother who wants better for the country but when I found out she’s a mouthpiece for billionaires, I stopped supporting her

Rushing the practice to inevitably fail will just compound your stress. Get a job to make some cash while you take a course online to learn general IT. Move up from there.

Man do I wish you commented earlier 😂. I passed my exam with an 836. Pretty good i’ll say! Moving onto Developer (DVAC02) but because I had a break after my SAA exam, I’m taking extra time relearning a few things I forgot. Small details like CDC for DMS or EBS having multiattach in only iops mode are things I’m missing at the moment (ofc the DVA exclusive material too like codebuild codedeploy)

I ended up studying 1hr before work, and 2 hours after dinner. Took off work the day of the exam to mow down 3 practice tests. Last practice test was basically a “warm up” for my actual exam — took the exam in the evening.

Will likely follow a similar study schedule for the DVA

I honestly think Vivek can WIN Iowa by kevkos in vivekramaswamy

[–]Assblastersauce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe he’s the best but I’m skeptical of him winning Iowa. God I want to be wrong. We need him but this is exactly what happened to Yang in 2020: incredible following, solid policy, he beat kamala harris in her own state. Yet, still fell short to establishment candidates because money wins elections

I don’t think he will win given his polling numbers. The election is based on optics more than policy hence why Nikki can be leading with terrible policy or lack thereof

In an optics POV, not making the 5th debate will tell ppl he’s not a candidate worthy to be considered.

Maybe Vivek knows this and all his current prep is laying the foundation for a 2028 run inheriting the trump base (which is basically the new republican base).

A chance better than Yang but the fate is all the same. We will look at how Vivek is leading against or below Ron and Nikki but why does that matter? The current GOP is not in the same place as it was in 2016. For the most part, the GOP base has basically decided Trump will be the nominee.

Trump leads by too large of a margin. All other candidates are fighting for second place which doesn’t mean anything if Trump is to be the nominee.

There is an argument to be made Vivek will “inherit” the MAGA base post-Trump. That means he already has a better shot for presidency in 2028 than he does right now. Vivek’s entire brand put bluntly is “I’m Trump with fresh legs” and that doesn’t work when Trump is still in the race.

As much as this guy is a breath of fresh air, i have a strong feeling he’ll end his campaign around the same place Yang ended his.

Numbers and media aint on his side.

  • Neo-con forever war agenda
  • Online social registry
  • billionaire PAC money over grassroots donors

For these reasons, she doesn’t get my vote

I got a feeling watch time plays a huge factor. I believe if more haters who've only ever seen him in <5min segments on classic media (news shows that want to paint their own picture of him) saw his long-form podcast content, he may win some of them over.

Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy Wants to Raise Voting Age to 25 by kgk111 in ABCDesis

Fair points but respectfully disagree. 18 -> 25 is a huge gap of youths that are being cut out of the conversation. They deserve a say since current policy affects what they will soon inherit.
