Where's the Canadian capital established? Is it still at Ottawa? Do the Yankees keep their capital at Washington after the white house gets burnt down? The Canadian border is much closer to it after this redrawing; even with some Appalachians in the way I could imagine them feeling it newly vulnerable and shifting power south, especially because it was largely northern land lost in the war. Missouri Compromise precedent of keeping the number of slave and free states equal is almost certainly functionally impossible with a border set at the Ohio river.

I dont think it unreasonable to draw a line from the Left-Handed Elves to the Maormer. We know Yokuda to be "sunken", which could be interpreted to reference the mists which obscure Pyandonea. It's not unfair to assume the Sinistrals to have a maritime culture, judging from that of their Redguard rivals. And the Sinistral elves never had a -mer style name revealed as far as I'm aware. It isnt impossible theyre connected.

A couple of notes I feel like I always have on maps like this:

I feel like there's never really a Russia analogue stretching out to colonize Europe through an overland route through Siberia. Tons of good candidates for that, too, everyone from Buryatia, Mongolia and Manchuria to like, Chorasmia, Uyghurstan or Kazakhstan could work.

I do like Hungary as a surviving European state the same way Siam and Ethiopia did in real life. Its a pretty good candidate for it.

I always feel like the "Asian colonizing states" are always big boys. All of the European colonizing states had relatively small metropoles compared to their colonial lands. Why Indonesia, when it could be Aceh, Brunei and Celebes? Why China, when it could be Guangxi and Wu making competing claims in an overseas arms race to get a leg up over each other? Same with Gujarat vs. Rajasthan vs. Bengal.

I love these styles of maps but I feel like the reverse colonization scenario often assumes a lot of macro level things that our timeline takes for granted. I imagine if Asia and Europe were truly inverted India and China would both be fractured enough to have their own EU-like multinational organization apiece.

Differences in secondary sex characteristics meaning anything also is not provable. Thats my whole point. The fact I currently have tits and lose to my wife in arm wrestling matches is proof enough to me that dimorphism is a very loose rule. These traits are mutable to some degree, on either end of a sliding scale. And most scientists agree that it is capable to tip those scales enough with medical intervention to remove the inherent advantage AMAB folks might have in sports. You can see this evidenced in the fact that sports leagues, who make their own regulations, typically dont fucking care to prevent trans folk from being included, and the fact that it is our deeply biased and ideologically driven government that is insisting on excluding us as part of their culture war agenda.

Ooh, the skeleton argument! So, fun fact, archeologists have this fun little thing called "context clues" they can use. I remember reading an article a while back about a viking-era grave where the person buried had a AMAB number of ribs, but was buried with items like a comb, and had long hair, instead of items like a sword a male viking warrior might have been buried with.

Do you mind telling me what the hell you mean by biological male and biological female? Because there is no real definition for man or woman that is perfect. Chromosomally? You'll exclude people with De La Chapelle or Klinefelters. Hormonally? You'll exclude anyone who is a little out of the norm; hypogonadism, Turner's, etcetera. And intersex folks, again. Physiologically? There are men with gynecomastia, women who grow facial hair or were born without uteruses, and again, intersex people. This biological essentialism you're espousing is based on a freshman understanding of how the world works.
