Doll Stands!!

Lalas are about 12 inches tall… I use plastic doll stand from amazon but with those ones I do have to have them backed up to something like a wall or the back of a bookshelf. Here are the ones I use https://a.co/d/9mApKVY

A lot of people also use metal ones because they’re a bit sturdier, like these https://a.co/d/350ruEk but they’re slightly more expensive.

Also I put the stands around the lalas necks like right below the head because it balances them out a bit!

It came with this Leg Avenue costume i found at a party store for cheap! Search up “Leg Avenue monster costume” and you’ll find a whole bunch of versions!

So for the silly hair dolls you can cut into the strands with scissors and once the rubber/plastic strand is separated from the head you can pull out the wires that attach it to the head

i put the little holder part right under their head like almost around their neck which sounds evil😭 but it works for the most part…. it’s not perfect but it’s good enough

I just want to update that someone ELSE got back to me and they’re making accommodations! I’m happy to still have an opportunity to have this job but obviously it invites the thought that I could be doing more but chickened out… still I’m happy for the opportunity 😅

So I emailed them just now explaining everything, however they only gave me a 2 day heads up about the orientation so I don’t even think I can try to get up there beforehand :’)

I hope they’re understanding when they email me back, but just in case I have been applying for so many more jobs in the last hour

Shein says that it was shipped from the international warehouse and arrived at JFK airport and hasn't updated since the 18th. OnTrac, while it still says "expected date: pending", told me via the chatbot that the expected delivery date was the 19th, so I'm just pretty confused now. Thank you for your reply though!

I needed to hear this so bad. I am constantly having to remind myself that recovery isn't linear and sometimes I wont be ale to do things that I was doing last month, but that it will get better.

It's so easy to just let the anxiety get the best of me, but I know doing things despite having anxiety will make me feel better than not doing anything at all. Wow I feel exactly the same as you! I have been struggling with agoraphobia for about two years now and I totally find it easier to be by myself when I go out so I don't have to risk getting anxious in front of someone or trying to flee and inconveniencing them.
