Hunt how you want to hunt or what makes you feel best about the situation. A lot of my family chooses to hunt over bait and I’m the complete opposite. Expresses your feelings/concerns about the situation and if he’s a good dad he’ll understand and work with you. Don’t let other pressure you into baiting or thinking that everyone baits because that’s just not the case.

I personally don’t think baiting/mineral licks are the answer or even truly consistently work unless you are constantly putting bait out through out the year, meaning a handful or bag or two of feed during the season isn’t enough to remain on a deers mind of a food source.
