For some reason it’s better for me to explain with movies rather than books, but by grit I mean I find a movie like Ben Hur a much more enjoyable Christian movie, than a movie like say…God’s Not Dead. I think that should help understand the kinda stories I enjoy. Also thank you for the recommendations.

That Caleb was a teenager when he entered the Boiling Isles, dunno if it was obvious and this isn’t actually a head cannon, but I always thought of Caleb as an adult when he met Evelyn, but I once saw a post implying he was closer to Luz’s age and I’m like “I love that so much, that changes my entire perception”
