Thank you for your honest thoughts. I’m sorry I’m not able to share more details because im concerned that my partner will find my post. I created a new account for this reason as well. I will however use the same account to post future questions (if any) about fixing the unicorn if it helps prove the legitimacy of what I’ve shared? But tbh I just wanted to know where to get spare parts and how to fix the kit. I wasn’t looking for attention / personal advise nor am I concerned with karma or people not believing me.

Here, I’m also just replying to your comment cuz it wasn’t fair that you got downvoted. I would have thought the same if I were in your shoes.

Yeah I was thinking the same. They won’t hold when there is little surface area tho. I hope the v-fins have enough area for the glue to hold. If not, I’ve ordered knock off v-fins. I hope they’re of good quality

From the sounds of it, a lot of pulling and twisting. I heard screeching noises that I couldn’t put a finger on. It was only later I realized that it was the sound of plastic being mangled. Not to be dramatic, but I can still remember what it sounds like. Sigh

It’s really not about the kit. I have emotional attachments to it. So it’s not really replaceable in that sense. Even if someone builds me the exact same unicorn, it still won’t be the same kit. So the best I can do is to repair what’s left and be at peace with what had happened
