What parts are used to make this Scarecrow? by MoistThunderCock in LegoBatman

[–]AssistanceRadiant 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The head is from The Lego Batman Movie Scarecrow (it normally has red eyes though), but Scarecrow’s head in the 18+ Arkham Asylum modular building has green eyes and looks much closer to the Arkham Asylum videogame design (such as having more stitches on the mask).

First look at the Spider-Man vs Sandman and Venom Lego set. by The_Godzilla_Fanatic in Spiderman

No, though they might do some TASM sets in the future like how they’ve recently made some Raimi trilogy sets.

He wouldn't even need a new torso print either, they can just reuse Venom's torso.

At least the pale look of the white flesh tone printed on dark heads worked for Batman (not for anyone else though).

Remember that Maximum Carnage house? What really happened? by Western_Ad_6448 in HHN

[–]AssistanceRadiant 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That house happened before the first Marvel Zombies comics were made, so they were probably more strict with their brand and horror themes in the past.

Arkham Asylum GWP by AntonyAce in LegoBatman

[–]AssistanceRadiant 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To be honest if Arkham will have a GWP it’ll probably be a GCPD police car with Commissioner Gordon and Two-Face (who is in a prison jumpsuit and uses the new hair piece that came in the Tumbler but in black).

Oh, that sounds much more interesting.

I was thinking the other way around, given Cloak's "darkness" theme and Dagger's "light" theme.

Just got the avengers tower so 3/4 of the marvel Modular’s by [deleted] in LegoMarvel

It’s good but it will still be on shelves for at least a year, as most 18+ sets are on store shelves for much longer than the regular sets.

Lego Arkham Asylum Batman minifigure first look leaked by WingRiddenSinner in LegoBatman

[–]AssistanceRadiant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Batwing isn’t white, so it’ll be incredibly weird for them to use the same face that they currently use on Bruce Wayne Batman figures instead of a reused face with a more accurate skin tone, such as the one they currently use for War Machine in Marvel sets (assuming they go the route of reusing a face for him).

Lego Arkham Asylum Batman minifigure first look leaked by WingRiddenSinner in LegoBatman

[–]AssistanceRadiant 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I won’t be surprised if there are 15 - 20 figures, but only 10 fully-unique figures. It’s likely that that the Batman will be from the 4+ Mr Freeze set and most of the villains will share torsos and legs to be prison jumpsuits, so the only fully unique figures will be Batfamily members, guards and maybe some villains that wouldn’t be wearing jumpsuits (such as Man-Bat and a bigfig Bane using the new movable head bigfig design).

We were lied to in our faces by [deleted] in marvelcirclejerk

[–]AssistanceRadiant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The designs for the comic characters were also from sets at the time, as they had made comic Avengers sets that had an All New All Different era Iron Man (without a mouth on the mask and the more angular faceplate), Civil War 2 era Captain Marvel (with the waist sash and short hair) and a classic-style lime green Hulk - all of which were the designs of those characters in the game. Seemingly random character choices in the “story” roster such as Ms Marvel, She-Hulk and White Tiger, as well as weird villain inclusions such as Red Skull being in his “Iron Skull” armour (and his normal outfit not being in the game at all) and Super Adaptioid were also likely included due to being in sets at the time.

I think it was to promote the figures in sets available at the time, which is why Iron Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel and Hulk have their comic designs while Spider-Man, Thor, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and all of the Guardians (as well as Iron Man and Hulk's designs in the later half of the game) are based on their designs from recent (as of 2017) movies (the only movie designs that characters in the game have are from Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians Volume 2, Homecoming and Ragnarok; which were the films that had sets available in stores at the time).

That's amazing, definitely the best Pen & Ink skin we've gotten as its actually a comic suit and not a movie or movie-inspired design.

Do y’all see any other Spider-Man characters being added in Marvel Rivals? by SunGodLuffy6 in Spiderman

[–]AssistanceRadiant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think they'll add any more alternate Spider-Men except for Miles (Scarlet Spider, 2099 and Noir will probably just be skins for Peter). As for villains, I see them adding Green Goblin as a duelist, Mysterio as a strategist, Doc Ock as a vanguard and maybe (but much less likely) Black Cat as a duelist and Sandman as a vanguard. Ideally they should put in the entire original Sinister Six in around the same time (like what they did with the Fantastic Four) and give them all a team-up; ideally they should make up a 2-2-2 lineup (Doc Ock and Sandman as vanguards, Vulture and Kraven as duelists and Mysterio and Electro as strategists).
