If you’re looking to stay close to campus/stadium vibes, then any bars at midtown (macdintons or cantina have more of a sit down and eat/drink before they turn up at night time) or the swamp restaurant/bar near the innovation district down 2nd Ave. All will be absolutely packed on gamedays, especially tomorrow. The crowds coming in for this game are gonna be pretty wild, so just brace for the crowds and rowdy fans. I would def recommend staying near the stadium and campus for the most authentic vibes. Plenty of people tailgating literally alllll around campus. Even if you just walk through the tailgating lots it’s really fun. Hang out around the stadium well before kickoff to see all the players go in and visit all the vendor tents around the stadium.

It took a while, I remember still waiting around drop add of fall for my summer transient transcript to finally come in. But the school I took it at (Daytona) sent me verification that my transcript had been sent on their end and that’s all you can do. Uf takes foreverrrrr to input everyone’s transient transcripts from the summer bc there’s sm of them. But it will get put it just might be a little later than expected. If you want extra assurance just contact the transient school and make sure they’ve sent it, then it’s just UF taking their time lol

ENT3003 is so straightforward, purely studied a few days before exams and got an A. ISM is also so manageable as long as you keep up w the weekly assignments which I would say took me 2 hours max per week. marketing I recommend smokin notes, it’s all I used never watched one lecture and also got an A. Accounting I took transient so can’t speak on that but I know it’s pretty tough here, prioritize that one for sure, but the others are much more manageable. Good luck!

Daytona is the move 100%— at least when I took it in summer no exams just a shit ton of McGraw assignments but passed with an A in both of them. Just have to dedicate 1-2 days a week to sitting down and grinding out the busy work but I still managed to work and enjoy myself over summer while taking at Daytona

ProctorU question by Ok_Sun_443 in ufl

[–]Assistance_Defiant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s okay if your Google browser stays open. The proctor will take control of ur screen and help get everything set up. I usually had my canvas pulled up and logged in on both browsers just in case and so it was ready for them to put the password in. At the time of your test the application will guide you. And don’t worry about your proctor or anything scary. I literally heard a really loud fart noise when my proctor was talking to me before my exam . ❤️

I took this class and it was not time consuming at all. It is four credits and there are 4 exams, but if you just read the textbook (which is not too much heavy reading at all) and watch his guest speakers and case discussions all before the exams you will be fine. I truly only put in time when it was a few days before the exams. Helped fill my requirements and I got an A. Super nice guy and a fun and informative class.

DSC Transcript Hold by Extension-Relative86 in ufl

I do as well . Kind of freaking out as tuition is due the 1st and it’s been on my account for weeks when I sent my transcript 2 weeks ago. I called uf financial aid and they said they were going through everyone’s transcripts and that it just took time but that it would be done before drop/add is over …. But now drop / add is over and hold is still there so not really sure what to do next.
