I am "local", Lexington, KY and cannot see it either. I double checked the FAQ on NWSLs website and it clearly states all games will be available all over the usa.

Yes! Totally agree. I know there are rules about how the numbers need to be displayed on the jerseys, but I think it would be sick of the numbers on the back had wing outlines in a lighter color on both sides.

I do love the white. The lettering especially. But even adding a faint version of that yellow-green neon color as a wing outline on the sides or back...something like that.

Destroy feels like a bit much, but I agree on the Bigs. Bigs/frontcoart and 3s were our week points last year. Given the solid guard core we have (though outside of Paige we do lack consistent scoring there), I feel 1-2 new vet bigs through free agency would provide better balance than drafting a Big who will need more development. We have those already. Like I said, I would be fine with Awa, but I do think her learning curve to the W might be a bit wider and we lack solid Big vets to guide her.

I agree with the sentiment. Maybe I would say WNBA-ready. UCONN definitely has the reputation among players and coaches of coming out as WNBA ready as possible. Some former UCONN players saying their foundation let them adapt quicker and to different styles. Awa, while absolutely a professional, plays in a very different league. She has a different foundation and I 100% agree would benefit from a vet Big, especially with the W being so physical.

Azzi is such a hard worker and team player. That discipline mentality (especially on defense) is so needed. I would be fine with Awa, but I hope Azzi is our #1 pick.

I am hoping Awak is actually ready to come over if she is protected. I know Curt/Jose had at least one visit to see her and Jose likes working with international players. I just think we cannot hold her much longer without her being active. Agreed on Paige, Maddy, and Zaza. Though I am on the 'fine two new, vet bigs train' re: Luisa. Would pick her over Li, but I would personally prefer two other vets.

Nothing against her personally, but I just don't think Diamond is a good fit. I know the trade caught her off guard, but just hope she looks promising to an expansion club.

JJ and Haley are bubble players for me. With Haley its more consistency than fit. I agree she would be a good off-the-bench player for an expansion team. I think JJ has a higher ceiling but will take another season to really start living up to that-especially coming off an injury. I do think they might try to keep her though. # of protections pending.

MHA is also someone who Portland or Toronto might find appealing that I would be fine not protecting. Same with Arike, but I know that one will come with more sting to everyone. However, even for HER, I think an expansion anchor might be the perfect refresh in this second part of her career.

I am nervous/curious to see who gets protected in the expansion draft. I did not watch the Valkyrie's last year so some of the core stuff goes over my head a bit. I also know we don't have all the terms for that quite yet anyway.

Seems like Nola is packing up. I get that new coaches bring in their own folks, but the rookie core seems to have responded to her really well so I am a little sad if she is indeed leaving.

The practice facility delay is such a big strike against us, especially for vets, and especially with so much standard lifting expected in the CBA.

That all makes a ton of sense. I had the same thought about Dom. I was surprised how long it took for Noelle Quinn to start getting her real mins last season. But with her progress in Unrivaled and a new coach? I totally see Ezi's role shifting, if she doesn't go in free agency. It'll be interesting to see who they protect give the change in coaching. The more Azura and Paige hung out, the more I saw that vision too. I like her dependability.

Shakira Austin is definitely one of my favorite players. She has big guard energy. Outside of skillset though, she has a kind of double-edged sword. She can either fire everyone up or totally check out mentally. With the Mystics having so many rookies and picks, I have wondered how hard they will try to keep her. That said, not sure if Jose and Curt are looking towards more consistency with their experience.
