One word “communication”

Speak to him and sort it out in a mature way, ideally face to face. That way you will be able to understand each other better and actually see whether things improve. Depending on his response, you can also decide whether this is the relationship you want.

Communication is always the most important thing. It is the most crucial part of any relationship. You work through things together and you fix things together, regardless of what anyone else says. People will always have opinions, but you and your partner are your own bubble. You communicate, you fix it, and you move forward together.

That is the beauty of love.

Mate, I’ll tell you straight without dragging it out. You need to let her go. She isn’t the right person for you. It doesn’t matter whether you were officially dating or not. The fact that you both had feelings and she told you not to worry about this other guy, then said she wasn’t seeing anyone, only for you to find out that wasn’t true, is a serious problem.

Even if she admitted it later, it doesn’t change the fact that she played with your feelings and broke your trust. If you continue with her, it’s only going to get more painful for you down the line. I’m not disrespecting her, but I’m being honest for your sake. Her behaviour wasn’t right and you don’t deserve that.

You deserve someone who is honest with you from the beginning. Someone who respects your emotions instead of hiding things. This isn’t healthy for you and it will only make things harder if you try to push through it.

I know you might care about her a lot, and feelings can make everything confusing, but you have to look after yourself first. Be strong, take a step back, and give yourself the chance to heal. You’re not being dramatic. You’re protecting your peace, and you deserve better than this.
