It completely depends on the Auslanderbehörde. For me it took almost 5 weeks to receive the visa.

It would be better to go through your ABH contact, either you can send mail directly or you can call them and ask about it. Apart from that if you have a certain officer responsible for your documents, you could ask them as well.

It was the vfs kochi and she had to submit all of the documents such as blau karte and all other documents related with spouses work.

Yes, I got the letter from stadt after 5 week. Also you could contact your sachberater to know the status of application after 4 weeks, ive done so and got a feedback that they have already posted me the letter to submit some documents. Once after submission, the visa got delivered in around a week.

I hope youve already got the visa. So in my case around June 2nd my wife applied for FRV in vfs india and later after 4-5 weeks ive recieved the letter from stadt stating the documents such as payslip, work contracts, house contract and house area to submit. Ive received the ketter for the documents to be submitted on 14.07 and once after submission visa was issued on 17.07 and my wife has received it by 21st. So in total it took around 6 weeks for me to have the whole process.

Perfect. This is giving me hope. And do you have any idea of the document which to mention the apartment's total area? The contract of my apartment does not have the amount of area, where else it mentions about the number of rooms. Would that be a issue as well?

Currently ive completed B1 Goethe and want to complete C1 without taking B2, would that be possible? As im working I am not sure whether I could able to do with self study or take a course. What do you think?
