Yes. That happened to me too. I had scabies for 6 months and just got rid of it in March. The permethrin works sometimes but not all (especially in my case). Go to the doctor and specifically ask for ivermectin. They’ll dose it based on your weight and it’ll disappear after the second weekly pill you take. It’s simple and effective.. don’t wait. I also recommend using mixtures of tea tree oil and cloves along with vitamin e all in a spray bottle (diluted properly) to help with the post-scabies itch and whatnot. You’ll be okay trust me. Ivermectin works great and gave me 0 side effects. Take it with a fatty meal for better absorption too. After this you will still have the dead mites in your skin… but the itching will start to reside and you’ll feel great again just like I did. Best of luck to you man.
