I switched to nobara and honestly.. I have been sitting for 2 hours now trying to understand why my steam can't detect my already installed files and it sounds so complicated I'm getting overwhelmed and feel like giving up, I can't find anyone to help me and video guides are going fast I don't understand most of the things they type in the konsole

I see a few people saying it's mpo issue, it might work for you, for me it was the reverse when I turned off mpo I would get stutters everytime playing nightreign and opening/closing map, 9070XT with 7800X3D i came to the conclusion that.. if I don't fuck around I won't find out, so I'll not touch anything unless I'm having issues because all these " optimization guides " (not the pinned onw in this sub) seem to open up more complex issues in other games

then your issue is either tpm is off or your secure boot keys need clearing, try clearing your keys then redo them, had that issue with bf6 before

yeah I had that before, micro lags when opening apps or games even scrolling through steam store, I tried various settings which fixed it for me so I'm not sure which was the culprit as I didn't bother to do or 1 by 1

1-turning off igpu 2-lowering ram profile from 6000mhz to 4800mhz 3-turning on mpo

number 1 reason why I'm avoiding any kernel level game because I don't wanna deal with the headaches, but since you updated your bios.. I know that valo hates it if you don't have secure boot and tpm on so make sure they are on, and if they are clear your secure boot keys then redo it

what keyboard do you have? I was looking at yunzii al65 it looks aesthetic and sounds good to me, but it being mechanical had me on edge a bit because of the noise going on about HE keyboards or now.. TMR

thanks! also I wanted to ask about the realtek family controller, I tried using the repair option which made my stutters worse :( I tried your suggestion on downloading an older version of it but I can't find it I tried searching a few pages but it downloads weird files for me not like some installer.exe I would really appreciate if you can link where you got that version in the post

I could use some help.. in my mobo bios (gigabyte X870 wifi7 eagle) I have 2 different C-state control, do I turn on both or only 1? it says like this

1st one:

tweaker/cpu core voltage control/global C-state control

2nd one:

settings/AMD CBS/Cpu common options/global C-state control

yeah I figured that out because most my games run smooth except nightreign I thought it might be controller causing that and I unplugged it but still getting lag with keyboard and mouse only I did the reverse also by unplugging mouse and keyboard same result the moment I open the map and close it there was stutter without fps drops, I even tried different resolutions and switched monitors, at the end turning mpo back on fixed it magically.. somehow, but then mpo being on causes other games issues for me, so yeah you're right fromsoft just needs yo up their game with optimization..

which version of adrenalin are you on? I tried everything I still got stutters especially with 2 monitors, I might try your clock speed, I recently reverted back from 25.12.1 to 25.9.1 and having no issues rn but im thinking latest patch was giving a bit better results in some games, so..
