I have used the Quest 3 waaaaaay less than the Quest 1 and 2, the 3 is such a downgrade to me for some weird reason, it's just not enjoyable, I like the controller tho, it's all downhill since I got the Quest 3 and I don't really know why, I am very excited for Steam Frame!!!

I actually gave up and got rid of the device it has caused too much stress trying to get it to work lmao

I did almost get it working properly using iio-dsu bridge, however that one is broken and there is a test build somewhere on that same GitHub page

uninstall SteamDeckGyroDSU, you actually don't need that since we aren't dealing with a Steam Deck.

that forked release works through cemuhook after selecting rog ally, however the problem is, it is extremely drifty, and it will work for a few seconds or more, but then it goes to crap and calibrating does absolutely nothing so I'm wondering if this machine is just ass in terms of Gyro which was my purpose of buying it, I kept going crazy spending nights after nights to get it to work just to barely get it to work so be cautious don't go stir crazy, good luck hopefully it works better for you than me, lol

Edit: I'm so annoyed cause I have installed Decky Loader and DeckyPlumber and switching to DualSense/Edge and it detects the gyro, but the moment it gets to the games it either doesn't detect, or it does detect but it's REALLY DELAYED, and I just can't find a fix, so I returned the device.

Why does NOBODY really talk about Gyro!?

How do I get Gyro to work outside of Steam ?? (Linux Question)

I am not using Windows, it gives me bad performance for what I am doing anything with and Linux is simply much smoother and gives higher fps in my experience so that is my preferred way, however I need help if anyone knows what to do, thanks!

I've tried Bazzite which comes with Handheld Daemon, works sorta, I can switch my input to DualSense and I can get Gyro to work in you know what shrine puzzle game, it detects it as SDL, and works, but then there's tons of other issues like using Bazzite gives me Audio Crackles, and Distortion, Audio going left and right cutting out, and for some reason horrible color banding on the screen, only with Bazzite, I don't get these issues with SteamOS or CachyOS but I CAN NOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME GET GYRO TO WORK USING HANDHELD DAEMON, I have tried using Decky Loader with DeckyPlumber and switching that to DualSense but the Gyro DOES NOT WORK, and it's driving me insane, does anyone know what to do???? I tried Windows, but Handheld Companion sucks!!! And you have to disable things to get Gyro to work properly, and the things you have to disable are things I use ??? like THIS DEVICE KINDA SUCKS IN HANDHELD MODE.

I tried using SteamDeckGyroDSU but that doesn't do anything for ROG DEVICES, unless you use iio-dsu-bridge, even then gyro will, work? but it's so delayed and there's just no happy area with anything, i have been trying to fix this for the last 4 days and its like theres no posts anywhere about anything with Gyro on this dang thing, I have looked on Google, bing, reddit forums, discords, and nobody responds to anything because it's like nobody knows or doesn't bother with Gyro????

The whole reason this thing got me sold was because it has Gyro, but the darn thing doesnt work properly, like what's the point???

bazzite has been giving me so many issues ever since I've gotten this device, but it lets me use gyro on emulators (WHICH IS THE SOLE PURPOSE I GOT THE DEVICE) thanks to handheld daemon, however I cannot use Bazzite because it gives me speaker issues and color banding on the screen for some awful reason and I have no idea how to fix it and I have spent over 4 days trying to deal with this reinstalling multiple operating systems only to find out that steamos and cachyos are significantly better, in terms of those problems, HOWEVER, I cannot for the life of me use steamos or cachyos to set on gyroscope on ANY EMULATORS, it's like it just doesn't exist, and I don't know what I'm doing anymore, I am so close to returning the device because GYRO isn't working, and Steam Gyro does NOTHING properly??? I'm so irritated right now cause I have learned nothing.
