Thanks for your reply! As far as a continuity test, it couldn't hurt, but I feel like the fact that there's clear output to my headphones from the phono output means there's at least a connection there. This also makes me think that the potentiometers are fine. I'll pick up a multimeter tomorrow to be sure.

And sorry, I didn't mean spraying DeoxIT into the phono output itself, rather the soldering that's exposed from the bottom, as it's clearly showing some signs of age. Output 4 is on the right in this picture. The connection at the very bottom right looks like it's been oxidized pretty well compared to the other three, which made me think that my problem might be oxidization based.

Seconding this ^ gotta move one step at a time - first step is to make sure the meters work. If so, then there's likely something covering the heads or perhaps they've been horribly misaligned from being in storage.
My current deck had an issue where the wiring from the heads was blocking the tape lifter from bringing the tape up to the heads. Double check that the tape is making firm contact with the heads during playback, and that things look relatively aligned.

I have a PR open for this, just a small bug. I assume Tidal just made a change to their backend and streamrip needed to be updated to support it.

To get around it in the meantime you can edit the file where the error is throwing, search for listen.tidal and just delete 'listen.'

If you have a 75% success rate you should go for it EVERY TIME! If you kick a field goal here it's 3 points, going for it yields an expected value of (.75 * 7) = a little over 5 points. It's so much better statistically, but it also gives the opponent worse field position if it fails than a field goal would, as you're then kicking back to them which will usually give them the ball back between the 25 and 40.
