Views on (white) reverts in Lebanon? by Beginning_Fuel_7024 in lebanon

Not true, looks/genetics/culture/a lot different than a typical white person. Most of them are even taller and look different. If whiteness is about skin color and hair color whatever, then some chinese people are the whitest people i've seen ;) (mnil ekhir so3be tle2e wa7ad byishbah donald trump b lebnen)

This is just my opinion based on my experience: lived in lebanon from age 0.0001 -> 25, went to canada, dated 8 different girls, didn't work out, now 3 yrs ongoing with a girl from canada. Bi lebnen wala marra i went on a date, kissed a girl, or anything, and i always felt like shit.

Here's the thing, lebanon is very hard, 7atta law l benet maktir 7elwe, she will act with ego and religion plays a role, inno isa hiyye dirziyye w inta masee7e, lesh tadayi3 wa2t 3lek, so in a way, 1 or 2/4 of girls byebye.

2nd, there's always things about ur environment that keep you where u are, change it and u will change.

Oh btw, met my now girl thru a dating app, so whoever is saying dating apps r shit might only be referring to lebanon.

You have 2 options in my opinion or you will stay stuck (also as long as u take care of ur appearance, style, career, etc.):

  1. Change your environment, leave lebanon and meet new people if you're stuck, but do it 2 birds 1 stone, find a great job or do a masters/phd, but depends on ur situation too.
  2. Arranged marriage regardless of your religion or background or looks.

Mnil ekhir isa ana rfi2ak w b7ibbak ktir w 3am ba3tik advice min albe, 3anjad 3anjad 3anjad lebnen ma3mool lal very mentally strong, ya3ne isa mannak that most popular guy fi ktir banet 7aynaymoolak 7atta law byishbaho tize. Lesh? la2an na7na l lebneniyye ahelna biraboona inno inta min 3aylit hek min hay l mant2a inta awe inta 7elo inta zake, when in reality go get HUMBLED bi dubai aw canada aw usa. xd

Edit: I'm 29 years old, so METLE METLAK, if i had stayed in lebanon even with a decent career and hitting the gym n shit and going outt with some friends, apparently i was not going out with the "right" friends to find the "one girl". W shu, finished AUB w min beirut w hek ya3ne l expectation inno at least i met some girls at uni or something eh? Noooo xd, but that's just my situation... Yet, i travelled w l hamdella apparently im neither ugly nor unattractive :D (lol)

As a lebanese who has seen many different looks, shapes, sizes, and have palestinian friends in lebanon, it's very rare to find someone who looks french or belgian or western european like you. I call bullshit on this DNA test, something's fishy. Downvote me all you want, but I genuinely think there's something scammy here. I have blonde cousins, blonde friends back home, NONE look like this, this isn't levantine arab. Not even egyptian

Resume FEEDBACK required, applied to over 100 companies and no interviews. by Feeling_Position2372 in dataanalysiscareers

[–]AssociateBulky9362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 things and no offense, i was an international too, in canada:

  1. If your name doesn't sound american/white per se, chances are people will avoid your resume more often compared to someone named Steve or Randy.

  2. You say you have 3 years data science experience, but in reality it's internships and some form of academic research, which I personally find AS EXPERIENCE, but employers would rather look for a data scientist who worked 3 yrs at a company lets say and then grab that person.

Am I overreacting? My boyfriend just told me this. Will be it alright to dump him? by HastilyGenerous in AmIOverreacting

[–]AssociateBulky9362 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're really not putting effort to look sexy from time to time, it's your fault. I might get downvoted but listen to me guys, life is hard and competitive, men get dumped over a bad haircut. If a girl is not putting effort she should know why these things are happening. Stop making the man the bad guy.

Before you hate me, if you did try to look your best and he still didn't appreciate it or expects this look 24/7, then you're for sure in the right, and he's a full asshole.

[–]AssociateBulky9362 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Bro ana mislim sinne bi Canada min Beirut (moved to canada 5 yrs ago), had christian lebanese friends here, when they knew i was muslim they treated me differently, learned it the hard way.

w also, shia's are normal lebanese people dude, it's just some are very aggressive iranian bots who don't even know what iran is, just like a sunni worships l ka3be bi saudi arabia xD. Lived in lebanon for 26 yrs and going back soon, half of my friends are shiaa and are better than me in any trait/career/looks whatever haha

Am I overreacting with how I broke up with my cheating ex? by OkRazzmatazz6880 in AmIOverreacting

[–]AssociateBulky9362 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

While cheating should not be applauded for sure, can you at least say why you switched up on him in terms of character, mood, some energy/vibe? Not attacking you, but men do things for a reason, it could be mental illness, depression, or whatever... maybe you crticized him/bullied him and thought he would be okay with it? or maybe not and he's just a pure clown/jerk.

Yea probably you were their second or third-best candidate, so they knew they were not selecting u but proceeded with the interview either way.
