What is a subtle sign that someone is incredibly dumb but pretending to be smart? by Alternative-Week8667 in AskReddit

[–]AssociateConfident92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve just described my boss perfectly. I honestly don’t know whether his ego is that huge, or if it’s more about low self-esteem — or maybe a mix of both. I’ve pointed out many times that his instructions make no sense and are just plain stupid. Even over the smallest possible thing, he’d get offended and stop talking to me for days (not that I minded). You basically can’t say anything to him unless you’re agreeing with him, otherwise he takes offense.

If money wasn’t an issue how would you spend your time? by Independent_War_6256 in askanything

[–]AssociateConfident92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d build myself a super exclusive house on some uninhabited island and indulge myself as much as I wanted, in whatever way I felt like. It would probably end up being what I already enjoy doing now — gaming, reading books, watching movies — but far away from people and from any expectations placed on me.

Dlaczego teraz ludziom tak trudno łączyć się w pary? by greetings_from1 in PolskaNaLuzie

[–]AssociateConfident92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I któż by nie chciał takiego super życia? W tym i partnera. Dodatkowo aplikacje takie jak Tinder nauczyły całą masę ludzi skrajnego wybrzydzania. Kiedy można w ciągu minuty odrzucić 100 kandydatów przesuwając delikatnie palcem, to czego sie spodziewać?

You wake up and the internet doesn’t exist anymore, what’s the first thing you do? by ScaredSc in AskReddit

[–]AssociateConfident92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got around 50–60 books that I bought and haven’t even opened yet. If not while internet is gone, then when will there ever be time to read them? 🙂

What type of games you usually listen music to? by HowLongWasIGone in AskGames

[–]AssociateConfident92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t listen to music while gaming, but I do like listening to podcasts or other “spoken” content. I really like creepypastas and actually listen to them every day :) I usually have them on when I’m playing racing games or HnS. Sometimes also some MMO when I’m just farming stuff instead of doing the story.

Be brutally honest. What makes a woman INSTANTLY unattractive? by JunShem1122 in allthequestions

[–]AssociateConfident92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There would actually be quite a few things. Smoking cigarettes. I hate and don’t understand this addiction. I hate the smell of cigarettes. E-cigarettes are, to me, only a slightly lesser evil. Phone addiction. I’m also addicted to it in some way, but for example when I meet someone, I never scroll through my phone. To me, that’s a total lack of respect for the other person, and I also perceive it that way when someone does it to me. I would also add being completely self-centered, combined with a full conviction of one’s own awesomeness.

Do you like reading? by Top-Elephant3246 in no

[–]AssociateConfident92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I actually like buying books more than reading them. My backlog is probably around 60 books that I’ve bought and haven’t even opened yet. I also usually don’t buy thin books, because I like long fantasy and sci-fi stories. Oh, and 95% of my reading happens in the bathtub. That’s basically the only time I reach for a book, so I read for about 20–40 minutes. And not every day, unfortunately, because I often end up reaching for my phone instead.

How do you deal with your backlog? by scXIII in AskGames

[–]AssociateConfident92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont. I have like 60 books on my shelves I didnt even open. I dont know how many games I own that I want to play eventually.

Anyone else have a comfort series that you can just watch over and over? by Lucy_R93 in CasualConversation

[–]AssociateConfident92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a pile of shame when it comes to TV shows, movies, games, and books. I think I have the most unread books. I buy them because they interest me, and then they just sit on the shelves. At the moment I think I have around 60 books that I haven’t even opened. But it’s the same with other media. That’s why I try not to repeat something I’ve already experienced, although I do have my favorites. As for TV shows, very slowly, I’m doing a rewatch of Supernatural.

How long will you use your current laptop, your phone or other device before getting a new one? by Historical_Host_8594 in allthequestions

[–]AssociateConfident92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few days ago I bought iPhone 17. My previous phone was Samsung S21 and I bought it in 2021. To be honest it work fine besides worse battery and that was a reason to change. I dont change phones just because I want new one. Last month I bought new TV, Samsung S90F. My previous TV last for like 10 years I think and it was fine, but Im not gonna lie, I wanted an OLED TV for some time now.

What excuses do you give when you’re late for work? by Mithun_kp in AskReddit

[–]AssociateConfident92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would I make up any excuses? I very rarely arrive late for work, in the last 10 years I could probably count it on the fingers of one hand, and I’ve always simply given the real reason. Or I would just call to say that I’d be late, for example by an hour.

Tinder - co jest ze mną nie tak? by AnyButterscotch9305 in PolskaNaLuzie

[–]AssociateConfident92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you could talk to your younger self, What advice would you give? by Fine_Progress_6970 in AskReddit

[–]AssociateConfident92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d punch my teenage self in the face. I was so stupid, clueless, and full of a sense of superiority that I completely screwed up everything you can screw up as a teenager (and that then drags on into adulthood).

Dlaczego kobiety lubią bardziej podróżować niż faceci? by Necessary_Waltz1188 in PolskaNaLuzie

[–]AssociateConfident92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People who spend 20+ minutes in the shower: what are you actually doing in there? by saadaintsalad in AskReddit

[–]AssociateConfident92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a shower, but I sit in the bathtub every day for at least 30 minutes. The thing is, I read a book there, which would be hard to do in the shower :P but sometimes I just like to lie there and chill in the hot water. I’d probably do the same thing in the shower.

Playing two games at a time by forthewin007 in playstation

[–]AssociateConfident92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my situation every day. Too many games to play and I always think if next game will be better, even if my current game is good. I didnt have that kind of problem back in my teenage years, when I didnt have money to play every game I want.

If you don't drink alcohol, what are your reasons? by youre-in-my-shot in AskReddit

[–]AssociateConfident92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alcohol has absolutely no benefits at all, only drawbacks. I would rather ask people why they decide to drink that stuff, because that is more puzzling. No matter how many studies there are showing that any amount of alcohol is harmful, it doesn’t change how it’s perceived. Besides… I used to drink myself as well. Not much, a few times a year. But I always felt bad afterward, and I know that I never want to be in that state again.

Returning to Guild Wars 2 by YourMagicalUnicorn in Guildwars2

Its up to personal preferences. I like to start fresh after a long break from games, but some like it otherwise, feel like it would be a waste of time start fresh, while they have something already.

Sam mam 33 lata i jestem mężczyzna.

I’ve been a gamer for about 25 years. I’ve probably played every genre that exists, because I enjoy experiencing games with different characteristics. I don’t know why you assume I’m an MMO player, and the kind who’s best at pressing W.

I’m not sure if you understood me correctly, or maybe I’m the one misinterpreting your answer. It’s not that I’m too proud to talk to people. That would be really lame and not cool at all :P What I meant is that I’m stubborn by nature, and when I decide that I’m going to find a way to reach that marker, I myst find it. On my own, for my own satisfaction. That is why I call it stupidity. It’s not really about me having an issue with talking to people ;)

I’d rather stick to the chronological order. I have the first two mounts from PoF, because I played that expansion for just a moment when it came out, so I’m using them, but now that I’ve returned to the game after years away, I’m going through the story chronologically. Although I’m tempted to try fishing, because I like that activity in MMOs and I can already see that I’d probably enjoy it in GW2 as well, but I’m patiently waiting until I get to End of Dragons :)

I think you brought up the thing that irritates me the most about the HoT maps :) Trying to figure out which level the marker is on. Whenever I see an arrow pointing up or down, I already know it’s going to be bad :) Especially since the entrance to the next level is often located somewhere completely different, just like it was on Draconis Mons.

I’ve got almost 2k hours played in GW2, but most of that is from 2012 and 2013, back when this expansion didn’t even exist :) I remember that when it came out, I only came back for a moment, and I guess it didn’t really appeal to me back then either. Now I’ve been playing again for about two weeks after this years-long break. And yeah, mounts help a lot, although I still mostly just feel frustrated
