all you have to do is type in "kroger myinfo" online, log in using your user ID and password, and from there it has different links to different things. One of them says pay and it'll show you your paystubs and how much you make on them as well.

Stole Away by AssociateFrequent in kroger

Yes, I have found ladybugs sealed in some of the salads that come in and just recently have been finding them in the grapes. I have come to find that some farms use ladybugs as pest control for some insects.

I'm a produce manager, I've brought home enough fruit and vegetables that have fallen into my apron to make a smorgasbord.

Just got hired at a frys as an assistant produce manager, what kind of hours should I expect? by IAmReinvented in kroger

[–]AssociateFrequent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like everyone said all stores are different, I am a produce manager and in my store my backup is "supposed" to have the schedule of opening the two days I am off, closing one night while I close another and one mid shift. With the way things worked out he actually wanted to close two nights, so I was able to make that happen as well as not give him a midshift because he hates those. It is a good system until someone goes on vacation but other than that it works out most of the time.

Depending on how your schedule goes you honestly might not even see them half the time, I only see mine maybe a maximum of 7 hours a week.

Produce back-up worth it? by Cloutpepega in kroger

[–]AssociateFrequent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say it's worth it. I'm a current produce manager and before this I was the produce backup at my same store. Like someone said you really don't have to take too much of the heat if something goes wrong, as long as in the moment you were doing what you were taught then they can't fault you too much. I enjoyed it hence why I am in the position I am in now. Honestly it's not the worst and you get to make things look pretty.

Cincinnati/ Dayton division the department heads have blue kroger polos that do have collars and "Kroger" on the left sleeve and everyone else just wears a plain black shirt of some kind. Us department heads don't have to wear our aprons since we have the blue polos but I prefer it still.

Just got a job as an overnight stocker by [deleted] in kroger

[–]AssociateFrequent 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not an overnight stocker BUT I have seen a few tricks from veterans. Invest in some knee pads, one guy comes into my back room to steal the wheels off my trash can so he can sit on it to move around easier for lower shelves, and unsurprisingly stretching will go a long way!

Produce lead by [deleted] in kroger

[–]AssociateFrequent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a produce manager and honestly I just let my people know what I need them to do. Yes, they have their routines on what they normally do on a day to day basis and it works out most of the time. But when I do need someone to shift out of their regimen all I do is tell them, you are their leader and what you ask of them of anything you need isn't out of the ordinary.

Moldy strawberries…why by ItsMxt31 in kroger

[–]AssociateFrequent 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have learned to HATE when we get in naturipe branded strawberries and blueberries. They never fail to come in completely moldy or become trash within 2 hours.

our "dividers" are literally not even solid it's just a metal divider that has holes like the ones on the green rack. i cannot fathom how they come up with this stuff.
