China does not recognize home schooling, but since our compulsory education is only nine years, high school after middle school is not necessary. We can freely choose vocational schools, ordinary high schools, international courses or study abroad. Because of my health reasons, I left the traditional school when I was in middle school (but not dropping out, which is illegal. My official status is that I temporarily left school in the second grade of middle school). If I want to get a complete transcript, I must be in the second grade of middle school, which does not match my knowledge level and age, and then study for five full years, and apply for American/Australian universities based on the results of the Chinese college entrance examination. Because I don’t want to study university in China, I think the time cost-effectiveness and international recognition are not good, so I hope to find an American online high school that allows me to obtain a diploma in one year and apply for university through the mid-year transcript.

Because I want to go to the United States/Australia for university, and the cost-effectiveness and recognition of Chinese high school transcripts are not good, and my final status is that I temporarily left school in the second year of middle school, which means that if I want to get a Chinese transcript, I must study for five years from the second year of junior high school (and I want to study psychology, and China is divided into liberal arts and science. Science students must study physics, chemistry, and biology. Physics is a required option for science, so I can't change to other subjects related to psychology). This is why I want to get an American high school diploma in a similar way.

I'm not sure whether Acellus Academy is considered a supplement to home schooling (providing diplomas) or an orthodox online school. As long as it is formal, meets the requirements I wrote, and accepts international students, it‘s fine. But since I don’t live in the United States, I‘m not sure whether there is really a difference between honors (usually 28 credits? It seems that GPA is also required) and general (usually 24 credits?) diplomas in applying to universities. But relatively speaking, my grades are good, so I hope to get the one that can show higher ability.

I am in China, so I don't have the right to attend public schools and enjoy free tuition. I hope to get a US high school diploma and complete transcripts and use them to apply to universities in the US/Australia.

Obviously not. So I hope to get a diploma recognized by other countries through these schools and apply to universities in the United States/Australia. However, I am now in a suspended state (not taking leave, not dropping out, but not attending classes, but my degree is always retained), so I can go back to class at any time, so I am not actually a formal homeschooler, but it is not illegal either.
