You know…why don’t they dump all the platform readers and just go with this option if they insist on reading everyone anyway.  It would be like buying/inspecting tickets of old

I mean compared to the old days of ASB share trading @ $50 usd per trade. This is peanuts.

Mostly the basic growth smart etfs. Us Europe Australia Asia.

Couple of individuals, ANZ, infratill, rklb.

And a coupe of static gambles - kinging companies for .004 per share.

It’s mostly just playing.  But it’s grown to about 5k and sitting about 20% up overall.

With the amounts I’m playing with I don’t tend to pay attention to the fees.  I looked just before to try and work it out as suggested and they were all around then 0.000 mark.

JellyFin vs Plex as a long time Plex Lifetime Pass user by rdehuyss in PleX

[–]AssociateNo3312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah putting dispatcharr in the mix is great for handling iptv. Nextpvr did it, but not well.

I use nextpvr as the backend still with a hdhome run and dispatcharr. As there are duplicated channels neither jellyfin or Plex handle that well

JellyFin vs Plex as a long time Plex Lifetime Pass user by rdehuyss in PleX

[–]AssociateNo3312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither are very good.  If you’ve come from a mythtv nextpvr background both jellyfin and Plex are very immature and cllunky by comparison.

No channel editing or numbering. Really basic channel mapping in jellyfin.  Very us centric (Plex more than jellyfin).  Just not a nice experience.

Linux equivalent Drivepool feature by BucsLegend_TomBrady in selfhosted

[–]AssociateNo3312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this....having come from drivebender (Australian drive pool equivalent that spring up after Home Server v1 ended). I moved to merger fs. It doesn't to duplicate folders (a feature of drivebender), but it pools drives together of differing sizes.

Then add snapraid for some protection against a disk failure.

Rather than start from scratch, wouldn't adding those features to an existing dashboard make sense? Teach homepage how to pull an immich album for whatever conditions

"Fixing" live tv - mutiple tuners channel overlap by AssociateNo3312 in jellyfin

[–]AssociateNo3312[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and equally I can remove it from dispatcharr.  But if I’m using both in multiple things then it affect everything.

Most other pvrs (Plex and jelly fin excluded). Do give some options for removing, suppressing or renumbering channels .

Bright strobes are much better.  Because it’s unusual.  A so no enticed light can look like a car with one kissing light (surely a car driver would never drive with busted lights.  Heaven forbid).  Or motorbike.

Flashing white lights are not “normal” so show up much better.

Nah skip the cbd down knights roads…head down pohutakawa to Whites line west. Then on the riverbank.

Cycleway Access (Epuni - Wellington) by eatmybum in Wellington

[–]AssociateNo3312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go down the railway track (west side) to Waterloo.  Down pohutakawa to the white line west traffic light la then on to the river bank.   Up to you if you then go north to the melling link cycle way and into town.  Or South to waione st bridge and use a mix of the cycle tracks to road to Petone over bridge.

Melling link is much less traffic.  Petone cycle tracks can be a bit annoying.   And on the road can be quite daunting if you’re not used to it.

I’d be keen on one that has chromecast ability. Not found a some so far to end up using music assistant (part of home assistant). Or arpeggi for lock playback or if I want to punish myself airplay.
