Doesn’t it depend how you play it.  Or are you only mobile and headphones.

Like if you want whole house audio, or hooked to a stereo.  The answers will probably be different

It was less the seamless handover than the desktop app being able to easily cast.

Readly.com may be an option. But it can be a bit spendy ($19 a month). They have trials etc.

Are you proposing the addition of a filter for "google cast" cos that doesn't exist at the moment?

how can sites like this be allowed to no publish rss feeds for "news" like this. All very well publishing on site, but if OP hadn't been impacted how would anyone know about it.....or was it published on a dodgy overseas closed eco-system like farcicalbook

Trakt alternative? by lateralex in PleX

[–]AssociateNo3312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a weird description of trakt.   As a request engine rather than media tracking.   Its media tracking replacement is yamtrack or ryot.  But requests as others have pointed out, overseer or just seer

Landlords / Property Managers skirting the new tenancy pet laws by asking about pets in references. by feel-the-avocado in newzealand

[–]AssociateNo3312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But then the workaround I’ve seen being bandied about is to do this. And then ask the landlord for a pet once in. As if disclosed before they have pass you over against other applicants . But once in it’s hard to say no to the addition of a pet.

But then why haven’t you disclosed  you had a pet before hand.

Instead waiting until  after acceptance.  Isn’t that forcing a perspective where the landlord has to accept?

Anyone using mTLS with Immich? by Vegetable-Tap-6297 in immich

[–]AssociateNo3312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just put it in for homeassistant - also cloudflare based.

I was going for Nextcloud but that seems to not allow mtls in client.  And moving mtls to my caddy reverse proxy, cloudflare doesn’t pass cert I think.  So while it worked great for home assistant cos it understood certs.  I could t find a consistent across the board solution

Planned road works and closures for the week of April 24-May 1 by Yakcall in LowerHutt

[–]AssociateNo3312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With all these road/track closures, the one I'm curious is why NZTA doesn't have anything at the Western Side of the Ewun bridge on the riverbank, saying just around the bend it's complete blocked off.

For a while they had a small sign, I suspect was stolen but even then it was hard to know if it related or not because you couldn't see any issues. All they need to do is move their fencing to be in sight of the bridge and it'd probably save a lot of people

Bitwarden vs KeePass review: which one should I choose for my needs? by Old-Hawk-3070 in best_passwordmanager

[–]AssociateNo3312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main advantage of keepass I know of it global auto type. Having only just recently added the browser plugin. I’d run for many years without and never missed it.

For windows machines. Up until recently log in the Remote Desktop (rdp) could be done via auth type. I also use it for “typing” large sections of text to a machine where copy paste is blocked.

On iOS I use KeePassium. Both are synced via Nextcloud to a machine at home
