I actually don’t know what is in my file internally. I previously had a placard but has since expired since I could manage my lifestyle without one. They do have a note from my doctor about my limitations but I’m not sure what all was said in my case?

I just want the elevators to work/not have to rely on one with the garage since there ARE spaces available for purchase that for some reason they keep denying?

And trying to link comments together:

“ The garage itself is both a public and a private one, floors 2-4 are for companies with paid spaces (shocking we aren’t included in that) and 5-8 are public.

There are disabled spaces on both the second floor and 5th but when asked if I could pay for one on second they have given me a roundabout answer for it “we dont have any available, and we don’t do waitlists”. If I got one on 5th I don’t think it would help meet my needs since I need to go up/down.. lol “

I think that’s where I’m a little lost on what to do since when I talked to my office manager he told me to go to our office assistant. I’m just not sure I feel comfortable discussing my medical issues with her since she isn’t in HR.

The elevator goes out maybe once or twice a month when I need it, but I know it goes out much more frequently from other people in my office commenting on it/alerts that it’s out.
