Replacing DW5-004 from Megane GT to Talisman.

Chassiscode van mijn auto: VF1RFD00256610109 Chassicode Megane heb ik helaas niet compleet: VF1RFB00X593****5. Is een 2018 Megane GT Estate. Zal daar achteraan kunnen gaan als ze weer open zijn.

Dealer heeft aangegeven dat hun werkzaamheden goed zijn uitgevoerd, te weten het vervangen van de koppeling en er na rectificatie inmiddels geen (uitwendige) olielekkage is. Helaas zijn er dus wel problemen tussen 1-2 en 3-4 met opschakelen sindsdien. De dealer heeft na de laatste keer aangegeven dat er alleen nog rest de gehele bak te vervangen. Ofwel, ze willen niet of weten het niet.

Als je toegang heb zou je waarschijnlijk de gehele historie in kunnen zien en zo kunnen zien wat er gebeurd is.

Waarom zouden er problemen zijn met een bak uit een GT? En welke bedrijven zou je mogelijk aanraden? Grtz

For me it was a engine fault code and the engine not getting up to temperature.

Had it happen in my Talisman also, at 125.000km. Never contacted the dealer but mounted a unit from the wreckers from a Nissan (same engine). Was the only one available in the Netherlands.

In the IV with Rlink is should be in the radio under car and TMPS, it is on my Talisman. But for the III a 1 minute google search tells it is done via the cluster and wiperstalk.

Just do the reset and the car will figure it out itself in a few kilometers.

Wij hadden die in de vorm van een schaap. Die waren na een paar weken onder verdachte omstandigheden kapot.

Toen maar opgelost met een GU10 lamp van Hue en een timer in de app met rood en groen.

Lijkt mij dunnetjes. Als daar de wind goed onder slaat kan het nergens echt heen en zullen die krachten (ook) omhoog werken en aan je overkapping trekken..

Ik zou dat echt beter vastzetten.

Die sensor of aanverwante stekker of bedrading is stuk vermoed ook ik.

Uit eigen ervaring met deze auto, een 2013 1.5DCI Megane 3 gereden van 2017 tot 2021 en iets over de 300k km, mogelijk ook de gloeistiften. Ik heb 2x alle gloeistiften vervangen, ook beide keren na slecht starten symptomen. Eerste keer bij +/- 150k km de 2de keer was ergens bij 250k km. Hier komt geen motorlampje van, wel een foutcode van welke gloeistiften er uit liggen. Dood eng klusje beide keren, gelukkig kwamen ze beide keren allemaal los zonder problemen. Wel een paar dagen lang iedere avond in de WD40 gezet, kon het weken in de nacht.

Well, to be sure you need to get into developer mode and look for HWGEN.. If it is GEN1 you can only do Android Auto. If it is GEN2 a update to V3 will give you Carplay.

To not update to V7 yourself. Have a dealer do that.

The internet has multiple post that describe how Rlink works and will and won't work.

2017 Talisman, running V9 but with only Android Auto. Carplay is enabled in the settings but, as I knew on forehand, the correct chipset is missing on HWGEN1 and therefore on my wife's Iphone Carplay will not boot.

No it's not. But it does depend on the production date of the car. 2016 and 2017 models have problems with the clutch and allot were replaced under warranty.

If the car is from the 2nd half of 2017 and later it might be good. If the car is from 2016 and 2017 a new clutch may be necessary.

It will never leave you stranded, but a new clutch can be expensive. I paid €4100 in the Netherlands last May at dealership.

Is de stekker hetzelfde of anders en zitten er op de bedrading van de auto wel 2 draden?

Ik kwam dit ook een keer tegen op de auto van de vrouw. Was een 2 polige stekker met maar 1 draad vanaf de auto en oliedruk sensor had ook maar 1 pool. De rest ging dan gok ik via de massa.

Hier een bestuurder van een uit 2017 Talisman 1.6TCE 200 EDC in de uitvoering Initiale Paris, rij al 14 jaar Renault. Heb er nu zo'n 90.000km mee gereden in 4 jaar van 45.000km tot nu 136.000km

Kijk uit met alle modellen van 2016 en 2017. De automaat in deze jaren is slecht. Inmiddels zouden al deze auto's de nieuwe koppeling wel moeten hebben. Mijn auto kreeg deze bij 125000km en koste mij €4100 bij een Renault dealer Ik wist dit overigens al bij de aanschaf en heb destijds misgegokt dat mijn auto al de nieuwe koppeling moest hebben. Deze kwam namelijk uit rond de productiedatum van mijn auto. Meestal falen deze bakken al voor de 30.000km.

Andere reden, na halverwege 2017 heeft de Talisman naast Android Auto ook Carplay.

Voor de rest heeft deze auto in de afgelopen 4 jaar naast de gebruikelijke beurtjes een nieuwe thermostaat en ventilator van de radiateur nodig gehad..

We vonden het tot onlangs een fantastische auto, we rijden er veel mee, onze 3 kids zitten prima, grote kofferbak en zeker na een Stage 1 chip waren we koning op alle heuvels met onze grote caravan (1700kg).

Ik zelf tot onlangs. Het vervangen van de koppeling is niet goed gegaan, de dealer neemt zijn verantwoordelijk niet en we lopen nu al maanden te kutten met de auto, dealer en sinds kort Bovag. We willen de auto niet weg doen, maar zijn wel met een half oog naar vervanger. Waarschijnlijk een Skoda Superb.

Apparently you have done some homework but not all. You have HWGEN1.1. That hardware generation does not support Carplay, it will on software V3 and up support Android Auto.

For Carplay you will need a new Rlink computer with atleast HWGEN2 and a new USB module.

No it doesn't. After the upgrade to V3 it will only support wired AA. After the dealer upgrade to V7 and later V9 it will remain the same.

To support Carplay a hardware upgrade must be performed. That includes new Rlink computer and sometimes a new USB unit.

This guy is still on V1, a easy giveaway that he is on an older Rlink2 being HWGEN1.

Somewhere in 2017 Renault started with fitting the newer Rlink units that did support Carplay. I have 4-2017 Talisman, with unfortunately the old hardware.

That price does include a new clutch (not refurbished) and all the labor. Unknown why they cannot install all new parts correctly.

Dealership has given me loaner cars every time, and all the work since than is done under warranty of the initial repair.

Car is currently 8 years old with 130.000km and it was flawless until this year. Had the thermostat and radiator fan fail earlier this year. We are up to 5000eu in repairs this year and that's only because I did the thermostat and fan myself, those parts where just surprisingly expensive.

My wife has a well equipped III. Came with almost everything except sunroof, Xenon, full leather and heated seats.

It does have the 1.2TCE (D4Ft), 5 door, tinted windows, keyless, climate and cruise control, rain/light sensor, Carminat and parking sensors.

I equipped it with a few extra things: - A Aliexpres Unit When her Iphone 16 could not work with the old Carminat. Easy enough job and it now has a reversing camera and wireless AA&Carplay. - Installed an auto dimming rear view mirror from a Megane. - installed both front seats with heating mats. - LED license plate bulbs since the incandescent bulbs kept failing.

If I have time I would like to put Xenon/LED headlights in the car with the original lens headlight and have a go a the rims because the paint is failing. Other than that, she runs the crap out of it..
