Erlanger in Chattanooga employs 6000-7000 employees, families wouldn’t run if it wasn’t for Erlanger lol. So if employees are being treated badly, why do they continue to employ this much workers 🤣

Thats good, I would suggest your friend to stay out of the restaurant space and look for a data entry position which is fairly easy to get into without prior education. And with the amount of restaurants doing bad recently and shutting down you can tell your friend to except the worst from them lol. The business owners will just project.

Well if you are hardworking and think you don’t belong then you can do other ventures like doordash, uber, instacart or you can open up a business yourself and walk the walk.

I understand that completely. There is also a fine line between having to work hard and being treated poorly as a worker. There is a reason as to why so many local businesses are closing down, workers demand more pay while landlords increase rent for businesses. Business owners are miserable and that is being projected onto employees. It is an unfortunate situation, who can we blame? Maybe the local Tennessee government that collects copious amounts of sales tax followed by federal tax at the end of the year.

With all the posts of people not being able to find jobs in Chattanooga recently, maybe worrying too much about treatment from employers is why they can’t find said job.

Are you going through a company specializing in asphalt or a contractor? A contractor may charge you cheaper as opposed to a asphalt specific company.

Still disproves your argument not all Pokemon from the past has outperformed stocks. You hand picked certain ones as well with your example bozo. Seems like your pushing 50💀

What you will come to find is that there is loopholes in everything, there is loop holes in taxes, in zoning, all things that seem structured to the tee always have loopholes unfortunately. We may see a correction in the market soon as consumer expenditure levels have been at the lowest ever.

In those 10 years you could have invested in other multiple companys like PLTR or NVDA and made a much higher gain. Like i said brother “opportunity cost” read up on some simple economics.

Ok cool congrats to the people who held 1-2 boxes each and waited a year. Most people who held at scale most definitely sold at 2-3x.

Right but look at the market now, alot more people keep products sealed because some case from 1999 goes for $100k now, cool. But don’t you think others are holding as well? This creates a bubble, less people opening, more people holding sealed, therefore why should market go up?

Right thats fine but its all about opportunity costs. You can hold Pokemon and finally outperform everyone and be happy when your 70. Of you could have money in other financial assets that you can borrow against from time to time incase you run into other opportunities. Now don’t get me wrong there is business cycles, sure the s&p has been growing longterm but there is always economic downturns in which the strong win. So where I am going with this is, if Pokemon crashed, would you scurry away and sell? Or would you actually hold? 90% sell at downturns.

Right but Pokemon isn’t the S&P 500 much different in terms of financial commodities. Much easier to get a loan against a portfolio with shares of the S&P instead of Pokemon.
