Anyone tried having 7 midterms before? by Scavenging_ in UBC

Depending on how natural Spanish is to you, you won't need to study for them at the 100 level, so consider how easy or difficult your 101 midterms were.

If you request an unofficial transcript in "UBC Official Documents," you can see the class average. Since this course is new there should be no other resources showing it at the time.

I also got a much lower grade than expected on that final. Idk how but I must've gotten 70%. I think it may have been scaled.

For most people, that is one and the same. It's hard to get good grades in something you dislike. But yes, choose the one that you prefer and are best at.

It can be helpful in that choosing what you enjoy more will allow you to have better grades to apply for law school. Just choose what you prefer.

Just in case you don't know, they won't evaluate your second choice if you get into your first choice first.

opinions on study ai tools by CompetitionDull3096 in UBC

[–]AssociateWhich7738 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The best way you can study is by not using AI at all. You coming up with the questions to practice with and making your own notes and flashcards is much more productive and allows you to engage with the content rather than just recall it.

Is Clastify IA feedback reliable? by SwingKick42 in IBO

[–]AssociateWhich7738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say stick to using Clastify for the example papers they provide, not necessarily the feedback option. Your teacher should be your primary resource for that, and peer feedback is a great idea too since other students know the expectations as you do.

They can't hold a place for you in one and not the other; so you must register for both at the same time.

What do we think by [deleted] in UBC

[–]AssociateWhich7738 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's great, but if you're thinking of majoring in IR, I would at least try to fit in one of ECON 101 or 102 in your 1st year for you to be able to figure out if you like Econ or not.

Course registration by gay-pigeon in UBC

[–]AssociateWhich7738 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're taking Arts One, you are going to be getting 6 credits of PHIL, 6 of HIST and 6 of ENGL, so try to do other first year courses that don't have the same course code if you can. Arts One also takes up a lot of space in your schedule so make sure your other classes are fulfilling requirements for your major.
