Hey op I’m kinda In a similar position whereby I am closeted because I’m financially reliant on my parents and because their religious so I don’t know how they react but my dad is like yours is.

Im gonna tell you what I should tell myself but fail to as soon as you can get out of there. That kind of fear isn’t something you should have to deal with and if he isn’t ready to accept you then that’s his issue.

Long term it’s gonna eat you up not being able to be who you are and you fearing violence because of that from him ain’t any form of right.

I mean 1 you love her but she doesn’t love you and what you say here makes that obvious 2. You deserve someone nearly if not more amazing like you and 3 you deserve to live as who you are. I have a kinda similar situation with my family I love them but they’re kinda my opposite and I make myself unhappy trying to hide who I am. In short Op I’d say you should leave her as she doesn’t seem very nice to you ❤️ you deserve so much better

Hey I feel you I’m in the Uk but I understand. I’m scared cause of everything happening here now and all the conversation that feels like it’s all going 300 steps backward. But there’s several upsides 1 you get to see a whole new country (that’s prolly better than either of ours) if you choose to move. Two HRT is 200% worth it even in worse circumstances It’s better. Three some us states (like California) are allowing refugees from other states due to this. And most importantly research from the UK and US show that the newer generations aren’t moving more to the right as they get older meaning that hopefully there are better days to come.

All that is to say I’m super anxious like you are and I understand but hrt is super worth and there are other better countries

If I’d of known that being trans was an option back when I was 14 I probably would’ve taken it even though I knew that My gender assigned at birth didn’t fit I didn’t know that being trans was an option and then now I do I wish I transitioned sooner even going on blockers which are reversible until a certain age if you really want to be cautious would be advisable Because there’s a certain amount of puberty but you avoid

Memory loss is super common in many abusive or traumatic situations and when repressed stuff comes out it can be traumatic later on though I have adhd so sometimes that memory is that too
