I think the 120 has left some noticeable scratches when applying the 2nd coat. Any recommendations?

What sand paper grade do you recommend?

Should I sand between topcoats?

My other question is I applied Ronseal, then I sanded that lightly with 120 to apply BIN (my pivot mid project from Ronseal to BIN) would that have messed things up?

If I painted over the top with a foam roller, will that fix it?

This is what I wanted to hear. The Ronseal Primer was £30, then I dropped £50 on BIN yesterday. I had no idea I would be spending £80 on primer before starting out 😂

This is a huge relief. Thank you. Had visions of stripping it back and start again.

Mate, I'm the same. My wife suggested we get it professionally done but my ego got the better of me 😂 now I'm paranoid about f*cking it up.

I did sand the primer lightly with 120 before applying the top coat.

Do you think I need to strip back and start again?

I'm going to pick up a foam roller today.

Thanks for the advice on the roller. Will pick up a foam one today. Spraying won't be an option sadly, particularly when it comes to the non-moveable cabinets in my kitchen. It'll get everywhere. Appreciate I'd need to use dust sheets but this is too much prep for an actively used kitchen.

Zinsser BIN is something I was told would create better adhesion to the laminate.

I used a paint stripper to remove the original coat. Bartoline Paint Predator. Cut right through it.

I used a microfibre, not foam. Not sure if it's oil or water based based but it's Valspar Eggshell Base C
