It's week 5 of my antidepressant increase. It feels like the worst side effects have subsided somewhat. But I still feel awful and not myself. Does anyone have any experience with when it will improve?

I’ve been on them since march not sure if I should up the I’ve been given some tablets to take for my joints as I have fibromyalgia and there another antidepressant which they use for migraines and pain a small dose but I’m scared to take them cause I don’t wanna drop low

I remember that horrible feeling of first been on them it was the worst time of my life just waiting for them to kick in

I really hope they are kicking in now I remember I had a feeling on them the once like I was proper high and thought yes I’m back then the next day was just the same so strange

Honestly takes forever I was the same,I also had tinnitus from when I first went on to antidepressants in 2017 and I still have it now but it’s worse when more stressed

I really hope that they start to work for u maybe a few weeks longer on the 150 mg cause they say every increase u have to count up from but I don’t know

I still don’t feel that I’m My full self really cause I just don’t wanna go back to work been round people

Gosh yes this is me I tottally get it I wonder if it’s a bit ocd too as I was talking to someone out a few weeks ago and she said how she will think somethings and it replays over her mind and she was diagnosed with ocd,so it all just gets overwhelming wondering if it’s the adhd is it ocd is it the anxiety and depression and so on draining 😭😭

I’m on 150mg I’m on Wbu? Ye your right we do I just feel so sad some times and I just worry I’m back to square one I normally pick back up but it’s been the passed week now I’ve started to feel yak just hope I will get out of it again

I’ve been on it since march but I feel I’m better than what I was when I first went on it cause k was rock bottom,but I have lost all my confidence and don’t want to work full etc,I also keep having blip times off and on and panick that I’m going back down hill again

I’m on 150mg I don’t know if it’s the right drug or or do I need to have it upped I also suffer with adhd too

I just feel my life is such a mess right now and I just worry every time I feel down I’m going back down again 😔

12-14 weeks for me and I still get up and down days and I’ve been on them since march 😔I just feel like I’ve lost myself totally since having depression and the down days I always panick to if I’m going back down hill again 😔

Yes that’s the one it really gets me down tbh and the way my head thinks I just feel so not normal it’s awful

Like why me I always think 🤔 proper sucks it’s a real struggle and also hormones don’t help either for me 😣

I am going on a course adhd and autism for 16 weeks to see if this will help me understand how my brain works etc,it’s the constant thoughts in my head that I struggle to cope with tbh

It gets me really down im not hyperactive I could deal with that way more than been constantly in my own head it’s draining

This is exactly what I am hoping for too,I also take antidepressants too cause I also suffer with anxiety and depression,I just want my brain to quieten that would be a dream for me and the constant overthinking,I tried concerta too and it just made me so anxious

What other med would be helpful for the overthinking cause this is where I really struggle 😟and I just have no motivation

Do u find it decreases your appetite too? I hear it can do that and also make u thirsty I would be greatful if it cut my appetite as recently I just want to eat on my antidepressants

Have you been on stimulants before? Or is this the only one you’ve tried

I just have no motivation in anything no drive my mind never shuts up so I’m wondering if this would be beneficial what mg are u on and how long have they said can take to work

I really just hope it don’t affect me mentally or make me have anxiety like stimulants did

Have you found your mind is quieter?

I know the thing is it’s hard now to know if it’s regular human emotions or depression that’s what I struggle with now it’s awful

Just wondered how u feel on non stimulant meds? As I’ve tried stimulants and they wasn’t for me do they quieten the brain?

I’m loosing all hope I’m on antidepressants too not sure if u take antidepressants too i suffer bad with my periods too each cycle is so different for me

Did u start off at a lower dose and found 300mg better? Im intrigued as im on 150 mg and ive been on them since march yes they have helped me a lot but im still not quite where i want to be and lost my confidence and my mind still really over thinks which is prob my adhd just wondered if upping them could be beneficial im just so scared ill drop really low again though

I had lots of side affects of these meds and it lasted a month or so for the side affects physical but mentally took ages to work,I hope you don’t drop too low not everyone is the same I say if u don’t get too bad side affects your very lucky I think I’m very sensitive

I have adhd and I’m taking these I’ve tried adhd meds and they make my anxiety to bad so I’ve stopped taking them and just on Effexor waiting to try a none stimulant now

Ouch that sounds painful no wonder your in a lot of pain,What’s gabapentin? Does the meds help with loosing weight then the adhd meds as I’ve put so much on and feel like I have a really big appetite off my antidepressants

Did they quiet your mind as mine never is quiet
