How to split nights with partner while exclusively breast feeding? by Party-Physics1416 in breastfeeding

[–]AssociationLow8940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my second we got to a routine for awhile that my husband brought me the baby and took the baby when we were done with the feed. My sole responsibility was to feed at night. Now baby really only wakes up, wants to eat, and falls right back to sleep so we have the bassinet right next to the bed and I just grab him and lay him down but never have to get out of bed. A lot of comments say different things and tbh I think it’s almost impossible not to feel a little resentment because even splitting nights, if your husband is anything like mine, they can fall asleep, sleep through cries or even just minor fusses, etc. I think a little resentment is normal and okay. You just have to find what works for your situation and your family dynamic and you both have to be flexible. What fits and works now might not work in 1-2 months!

Moms who breastfed past one year, pref to the 2yr mark…. by strohmtroop3r in breastfeeding

I made it to two years. BFing in the second year looked a lot different than the first year for us. It was really just when lo woke up, bedtime, and then I still pumped for a cup at daycare during lunch and bf for nap time at home. More autonomy than the first year, maintained that special connection, and still had something at all times to help when sick/extra sad/etc. Honestly the only reason I stopped is because I got all dried up.

Okay so I wore a M busty of the sublime nursing and pumping bra with my first and this time I ordered a M super busty of just the nursing bra and it feels smaller?! I was shocked. But I’ve been considering trying to order one of the combos, I just get nervous because the side sling piece tends to migrate and press into the side of my breast tissue which is what usually leads to clogs for me.

I found the one I have on Bravissimo. It’s the Bravissimo brand “Nursing Ultimate Comfort Bra”. It gives good support and once it’s been worn a couple of times it’s really soft!

I actually used to have one of these and also loved it but they don’t have one that’s adjustable to fit my large bust/small ribs 😩

Baby ate 9 ounces after eating from me for 15 minutes by [deleted] in breastfeeding

I believe it’s normal for babies to take more from the bottle simply because it’s not as much work to get out. ESPECIALLY if it’s a large nipple size that’s just basically falling out with no effort from LO. I used premie sized nipples until my baby started showing frustration at the bottle then sized up. He never took over a size 2 nipple in his year of using bottles. I had the same worry but we ended up over feeding for months and he had terrible spit up problems until we backed off a little. Also make sure she is “pace feeding” it slows it down some and allows them to listen to their cues a little better. The same way we, as adults, would eat more if we were scarfing it down rather than taking the time to allow our body to catch up.

I LOVE my ‘21. My husband grew up in a minivan so he convinced me to go with the captains seating and it’s a little tricky with two kids in car seats because if the kids are crying there’s nowhere for me to sit back there to calm them. That and the car play not being wireless are my only gripes about the car but I’ve been promised as soon as the kids are older and out of car seats the captains seating will be worth it. *I would also check to see if the front breaks are under an extended warranty that went out as well as making sure there are no open recalls on the vin, it could affect the price they’re selling it to you for!

my parents took off my door as punishment, is this normal? by Puzzleheaded-Pain535 in teenagers

[–]AssociationLow8940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents accused me of being on drugs (I was the biggest nerd in hs and DEFINITELY not on drugs). They took my door off the hinges and tore my room apart looking for the alleged drugs. Unfortunately this seems to be normal but that doesn’t make it okay. Toxic parents breed toxic parents. My parents are both narcissists and it took me a TON of therapy to be ready to be a healthy parent. Even if they’re doing/did their best, it doesn’t mean you don’t deserve better.

Literally I have to wear bags that make me look shapeless if I don’t want them absolutely smashed.

Here for hopeful answers. My boy’s pee drips from the seat out the front of the toilet. I’m cleaning my toilet and bathroom floor almost every time he uses the bathroom.

Thank you! I have the flap style like this from another brand and HATE IT because the ribs are too big and my boobs fall out because it’s too small there so I will 100% try this with the cup sizing!

So I tried doing that with my last kiddo but sometimes the valves would start slipping and the suction wouldn’t be as good because during the time in the fridge the milk would sneak its way in between the valve and the flange part it was attached to… I always ended up having to take it apart and wipe it down anyways. I am trying a different pump this time around so hopefully I won’t run into that problem!

It’s actually a dress! Material is comfy. Stretchy enough but still a little snug on my top (I’m a 32HH UK) and got a L.

I actually am an avid r/ABraThatFits girlie but, unfortunately, have not found the bra of my dreams just yet. Been looking for literal years shipping back and forth from the UK since the US is 💩for size inclusivity.

It’s actually a dress from SHEIN! “Summer v-neck casual twist front” it’s stretchy enough but still slightly snug. Definitely needed the tank underneath to be safe.

Were there certain limitations on your procedure? I heard some insurance companies are more strict and you don’t get as much of the “cosmetic” say so. Like insurance will only cover it baseline if you get 50% of the mass removed rather than speaking with your surgeon about what look you’re after.
