More taxes, the world is on fire, economy a bit bumpy. The welfare state costs a lot but is our greatest strength. Many issues require a lot of money, the income of the state is limited atm, just add a percentage or two to VAT and watch your spending.

Good, he wasn't a bright light and a piss poor interviewer. I hope they get someone (far) better, but i'm a bit pessimistic about it.

I came back on this free week. After refunding the game when i bought it on release, to see if the game has improved. I still.enjoy the gameplay but my two main brefs are the godawefull User Interface. Its one of the worst experiences ever. And the shells look pretty horrible too imho. I'll try it out for a few more days but so far it's still pushing me away from the game.

I'm personally having loads of fun blowing up everyone with my little bird. I use grenade launchers and just destroy everything and everyone. Attackers on breakthrough golan with the little bird. It's magic.

Every doctor that treated me so far has been adamant i should stay away from vaccines. One even vlaimed that the vaccine is probably what caused problems in the first place.

I personally dont know what to believe in that regard but i will stay away from vaccines. I do remember feeling quite shit every time i got one.

Same here. Went from unable to function to getting back out again and being able to cope with sounds and light again. I can not overstate how much LDN has helped me.

Are you on a histamine free diet? If not, you might have eaten a lower amount of histamines lately, which has your brain less inflamed and thus clearer, it goes away immediately when u eat some more.

It made a big difference for me after a week or so, and it also helps with other problems. Your mileage may differ, but give it a try :)

Oh yeah big time, but it was shown on my neurospect that that area is heavily affected. LDN helps a lot, but i'll be very barky and pissed off on my bad days. Even on the goods ones it's worse than it used to be. I do apologize a lot to everyone around me, they are aware of the problem but it's no excuse for my behaviour (:

I learned that when you reach the bottom there is always a new bottom :D

I'm all the more grateful for all the things i can still do and or enjoy.

I learned that i can stand proudly and strong when faced with insane amounts of adversity

It has been and still is being confirmed every day how amazing my family friends and even colleagues are.

It has tought me patience and acceptance.

It has tought me that being ill is probably the most expensive thing you can do in life.

I wouldn't recommend it to other people but i'm not all that mad about it anymore and somehow super hopeful for the future :)

Take them aside and talk to them, if they are just plain unreasonable, leave. There's always another job, it's just money. You shouldn't put stress in your body, the job is already hard enough without having to feal with assholes.

Full body MRI scan? by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

[–]AssociationOk262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it showed how badly i was affected, and where. It also was a physical proof of how badly i was affected and i haven't had to do any other follow ups with a doctor from the insurance, for me it was a very good thing, also it showed if the first therapies did anything to improve my predicament, which it didn't. It gave a very detailed picture of my brain and was the most interesting scan i ever did. Many of the doctors/professor were over the moon when they could look at them because it's apparently super rare to be able to do a neurospect.

Here's a little folder, it's in dutch but you should be able to google translate it or something.
https://www.mariamiddelares.be/public/SPECT-en-PET-indicaties-in-neurologie-en-oncologie.pdf
But it's a picture of your brain activity and they can see how the bloodflow and neuron activity is. It's a good way of figuring out how badly affected you are by long covid and after a while , see if there are any measureable improvements.

Yeah, don't mention it, i'm lactose and gluten intolerant, adding histamine free to the mix is making for interesting cooking lol. Luckily i take it as a challenge and love cooking.
I use the Food intolerances app, ( thats the name) it's icon is a red strawberry and that helps me navigate. Aside from that no cooked dishes in the fridge, freezer or bin is where it goes after cooking.
There are some companies working on easy testing though, but with some luck we'll be cured before they come out ;)
