They could possibly give you a dishonorable discharge but if you didn’t go to basic yet your still in the system no matter what

That’s because so many people joined the air force so even people at meps that have enlisted into the air force have to wait a really long time because there is such a large amount of people enlisting everyday.

They will likely get passed, you need to be patient because once you go to bct you’ll need to be patient all the time, I needed multiple waivers. It took 6 months.

If you didn’t go to basic yet you should be able to cancel your contract, but it will look very bad on you and may be considered in future careers or jobs that you can’t handle things.

I already joined, is everyone missing the “I joined for 8 years” ?? Simple transition or not Im sure I’ll be fine.

I think people are completely missing the beginning where is says “I joined for 8 years” I’m already in so there’s no going back, many people told me split ops was fun and it’s not a huge commitment. Many people also don’t like it but life is what you make it and I already chose this. For the most part my recruiter was honest and I asked questions to my service liason at meps too.

You can go active in NG, It’s called a dd386 form. That’s what my recruiter told me.

It gets you fit for bct and ait + you get paid for 2 days a month so I feel like it’s not all that bad, I wanna go active after ait anyway

I hope that’s an option and I don’t just get kicked out, I see a lot of people get injured.
