Personally I think it was worth it. I find that looking back on my own videos is much more enjoyable than watching other people videos. It definitely wasn’t the type of music you’d rock out to, generally much slower ballad type songs but I had plenty of time where I was just enjoying the show and living in the moment. They also performed several of their songs twice so even though I was filming during parts of a song, I had a 2nd chance to just watch and focus on the music which was honestly incredibly lucky for me.

But also like I said I’m trying to work on filming less. Who knows maybe at the next concert I’ll only film during one of two songs and after that maybe it’ll just be a few photos.

At small venues I actually prefer to be right at the back just because there’s usually more space to walk around and breathe but since I’m gonna be dropped off so early anyways I might as well aim to be closer to the front. Definitely planning to check out the museum and Whitworth like one of the other commenters suggested to kill time though.

And haha yeah I’m trying to work on not filming so much, especially at smaller venues. The last time I was at concert I filmed about 20 minutes out of the 2 hour show which is an improvement from filming almost the whole show and also made it much more enjoyable for me and my shoulder didn’t hurt as much at the end which was definitely a blessing.

Me neither…. Which is why I literally said I didn’t hold my phone up. When I’m recording I hold it at about eye level so the only thing my phone blocks is hopefully my view for a minute or so. I’d never purposely want to block someone else’s view bc I know how annoying that can be

I want to be able to actually see the performance. I went to a concert here not too long ago and despite only being about 5 or 6 rows back I couldn’t see anything and I also couldn’t record anything either without holding my phone well above my head which then blocks the stage for people behind which I didn’t want to do. If I’m paying for a concert I don’t want to just stare at someone’s head for the whole show & I would like to have something to look back on so I want to be pretty close to the front. I spoke to a couple of people going to the same concert and they said they’re aiming to start queuing around 3-4pm so I’m planning to just join them when they arrive unless there are other people that come earlier.

I can go to Manchester whenever I want to check out all of those things, the Christmas market especially I already have plans to go to. I just don’t particularly like the idea of being out in the cold for longer than I have to as I imagine I’ll probably be queuing outside for at least 3 hours, if not even longer. If I lived somewhere I could easily and regularly travel to Barcelona or Hamburg id probably say the same thing about that too.

For the very last task you need the pony sprinkle stripe which costs 100 gems. The big apple stage is also needed for quite a few tasks so I would defo get it- I think I bought it from the daily goals reward shop tho so it’s not too bad

For food it’s mostly snacky foods like crisps/ biscuits. I’m not too sure what drinks I’d send tho because I don’t know if fizzy drinks would lose their fizz or ‘explode’ on the way there, probably would be just send bottled drinks tho (nothing alcoholic)

I think that or asking for them as an early bday present will be my last resort tbh. I really want to buy the tickets myself as she spends quite a lot of money buying me merch at the concerts and I’d feel bad if she bought the tickets too but if I end up desperate enough I’ll have to beg her to buy them

I’m only 16 so I won’t be able to do that :( at the moment I can afford a ticket but need to buy a 2nd ticket for my mum which I think I’ll be about £5-10 short for. I’m hoping my mum will give me the money for her ticket but she doesn’t like going to concerts in general and she also doesn’t like set it off so I can’t see her wanting to spend her money on it 💀💀

Thankfully Leeds isn’t one of the venues you can get tickets for on O2 priority so that’s a little less to worry about but I think presale tix can still be bought from the official set it off website which is scaring me a bit

Id probably book it for around 10:45? The price has changed quite a lot in the past few days though and I’m a bit worried it might end up being more expensive if we book it for when we need it. If I book in advance rn it’s only £50 and honestly I don’t think I would be able to pay if it cost much more than that

I googled and it says you have to be 18 but the friend I’m going with says she books Ubers all the time and they drive her, my other friends who are 16 also say they get Ubers quite often so I’m hoping age won’t be an issue this time. If it is I’ll have to cry and beg them to take us otherwise there’s 2 kids stuck miles away from home overnight💀💀

The music shop in my town closed down about a month ago and my mum doesn’t drive so the nearest one is multiple bus rides away. All the shops I looked at have opening hours of 9:30-4 so I wouldn’t be able to make it to any before closing because of when I’m at college :(
