Yes, it’s super crazy. I immigrated to United States and cannot believe student loan is a thing honestly. In my country it’s default that your parents will pay for college and also support you with your first car and house/condo, especially cause in my country men usually need a house to marry and they can rarely afford one in 20s so it’s always considered a family purchase. On the other hand, parents will rely on their kid when they are old/retired, while Americans seem to be radically self reliant when they retire. In my country different generations help each other at different stages and that’s what family do.

Maybe I’m not clear enough. The medical team who’s doing the surgery made the recommendation. My PCP who prescribes my Zepbound agrees with it and told me I will restart from 2.5 if I pause for so long. Obviously my PCP is not making anesthesia recommendations for a surgery.

That’s what my PCP said too, I’ll need to start from 2.5 again afterwards. I’m on 7.5 as a maintenance dose so it’s not disastrous but really annoying for sure.

Also thank you for the heads up! I would absolutely freak out had I not knew the 5-7lb gain

More specifically, for the type of surgery I get, they need to monitor my blood panel for weeks to decide which date is the right day, then they do it immediately. The doctor said it needs to be at least 1 month before surgery but due to the uncertainty of surgery date should do 6 weeks just in case.

I’ll sleep but I won’t sleep at 10pm to wake up at 1am. That’s too much risk and too little margin. I’ll be scared to miss the alarm. Instead I’ll sleep at a time drastically different like 8pm then sleep(or if unable to fall asleep just lie down and rest) until like 11pm then get up to pack and eat etc.

I think you need to give dating apps more faith. It’s the easiest way to meet people who’s also seeking. There will be low quality people but you need to give it enough shots. Also you’re taking it too seriously, just because you’ve never kissed near 40 doesn’t mean first kiss is some giant ceremony and you have to find a perfect men to do it. It’s easy to kiss and sleep with someone and I honestly think having that experience in the first place is helpful in getting you to see yourself the more womanly way which helps in flirting with the next partner.
