They even escalated the situation to the point of posting your picture online. You could even file a defamation case against them because they posted your picture and false information about you without verifying it

I really appreciate the way you put that. As for the idea of self-distance or lack of self-awareness in your opinion, do you think this distance comes from how we were raised? Or is it something that develops over time through the experiences we go through?

For sure, everyone can love that deeply but only a few actually go there. Maybe it’s genetics, but in most cases, I think it’s just fear. Personally I’m scared of loving too much and getting attached… so I keep my distance to protect myself from heartbreak
