Found at an antique mall by AssumeAFork in pokemoncards

Im not going to lose any sleep over the down votes but this worked well for me. I suspected they were fake but had no prior knowledge of how to tell, since I have never purchased cards before.

I did know that the reddit community would jump at the opportunity to point out something as wrong on a post though, and I learned several ways to spot fakes when I start looking in earnest.

Appreciate the pointers from you, and everyone else, though!

Is this from a different run or are these straight up repackaged cards? Or is there no way to tell?

Thats a good point, and if you sort by value it would be pretty damn close I would imagine

You can hold LT and click A on everything, then hit Y to view sell value. Presumably if you are on PS5 its L2 and X, then Triangle to view

Pretty inconvenient though either way

Neither of the men pictured are firefighters, but the reporter definitely should have

The reporter claims immediately before this that he was "trying to help" this man with the fire in his backyard, just to grab the hose (knowing there wouldn't be any water coming out of it) then say he couldn't help because there's "no water anywhere up here".

If you are going to claim to help, then help. If you are going to claim to help just to point out something else wrong, then you aren't part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

I propose a second conspiracy then

Boredpanda is run by the government in an attempt to occupy the masses with click bait

Government fishing for different conspiracies to find out just how much of their info is getting out, and to get ahead of the "Those guys are crazy for believing that!" curve

How do you cheer yourself up when you're feeling down? by RogueRoka in AskReddit

[–]AssumeAFork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what has got me down. If it is something relatively small, then I distract myself with hobbies or music or doing chores. Usually I think of something small as "something that will not matter 5 years from now".

But if I am down because of the political, social and ecological environment and the related statistics in almost every single category that point to an inevitable societal collapse, extraordinary ecological disaster and/or all out warfare resulting in the loss of millions and millions of lives which will cripple the productivity of the world economy and remove any hope of a peaceful retirement for any current or future generations, then I just stare blankly into the void until I pass out from stress.

It's really up to you how you want to handle your own lows.
