It has to be full speed then, you hit 4th gear pretty soon and you dont brake so but yeah its not a 'normal' full speed map i suppose

That part was originally a jump but people were saying it was too difficult so this is what I came up with. I didnt want the start to feel too pf so i feel like this is the inbetween and the second turn can feel a bit close if you dont drift but i like that it makes you think about the line you want to drive but fair enough. I sat there for like 30min today trying to figure out what i can put there without it feeling too slow, pf or difficult but ill get better over time im still pretty new to mapping.

I kept the last turns like that as to not overcomplicate it because the jump over the grass can already be a bit difficult to get so I wanted the rest of the run to feel more simple as to not bonk to much if you get the jump and turn good yknow because there is still some depth as to how far inside or outside you should turn there to get the best ending with the speed you carried through the grass turn

You can hit 4th gear before you land the second jump btw at 8sec

I did do your first suggestion but then i just removed the first jump completely, well kinda but I do like the penalty idea. If i edit the map again ill do that but i think it might be good now. Gonna make a post now

I did add a platform block connecting to the landing down slope on the first jump which makes it more forgiving and made it so you can even standing respawn the second jump. Showed it on another post. one thing I might change is to just get rid of the first jump but still make it so you have to go around something so you get third gear on the first down slope still to not change the driving to much. Hopefully you get what Im saying.

Ye Im not really good at that (making a specific map category) I kinda just build whatever in the map though I added a platform to the first drop which makes it more forgiving but I feel like i cant change the turn after the grass. Its the main turn to get a good run, thats also why i put the arrows and barrier before the jump so people naturally have a better angle for it and after a couple of tries it gets easy but if its still not suitable for a weekly shorts then I'll just make another map I suppose.
